By interviewing city managers, we have identified some of the unique factors and challenges that city officials face when considering their community’s local food systems. Through interview and survey data, we sensed that there is a desire for more local food in communities but lack of resources, lack of policies and the nature of large commodity agriculture in Kansas appear as challenges. These two perspectives offer contrasting views on whether a company should primarily serve the interests of its shareholders or consider the broader spectrum of stakeholders in its decision-making process, taking into account environmental, social and governance factors alongside financial performance. Mandatory ESG disclosure makes it possible to incorporate ESG information into stock prices, incentivizing firms to “do good”. This channel, however, may lead to suboptimal investments, according to disclosure theories. This study investigates the changes in firms’ investment in innovation activities following the staggered introduction of mandatory ESG disclosure around the world. Using a sample of corporate patents filed by listed firms across 58 countries from 2000 to 2022, I find that the introduction of mandatory ESG disclosure is associated with less corporate innovation. The goals of this study were twofold: to further examine sustainability within the brewing industry through a literature analysis across four academic journals, and a benchmarking analysis of a Louisville, Kentucky brewery’s resource consumption and emissions production. Publications related to the brewing industry were examined for the presence of sustainability keywords: “efficiency, sustainability, carbon footprint, climate change and greenhouse gas”. Benchmarking examined the local brewery’s primary production facility to determine their performance compared to other surveyed breweries pursuing sustainability across the country. This study focused on the twenty resellers of buffalo dairy products in the Philippines amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to discover the pivotal factors impacting resellers’ customer experience. We investigated how pricing strategies impact reseller customer experience and retention during the COVID-19 pandemic using interview data. Reasonable pricing aligned with product value boosted favorable opinions of the brand. However, production insufficiency led to frequent out-of-stock scenarios and affected customer satisfaction. Meeting reseller demand proved instrumental in shaping positive experiences. We also highlighted how production capacity and supply chain efficiency directly impact reseller operations and customer experience. We shed light …
