Our project was with ARIBEX, Inc. doing a market feasibility study of the fields of Podiatry, Emergency Response, and Sports Medicine. As we discussed the feasibility of the NOMAD Handheld X-ray device for their respective fields, we learned that, with the resources we had at our disposal, it would be best to focus on just the field of Podiatry. We administered a survey and learned that there is a viable market in the Podiatry field. While portability is the least important characteristic of an in-office X-ray machine, one of the most important characteristics is space efficiency. Since the NOMAD is …
