في ظل التشغيل الالكتروني للبيانات المحاسبية يتطلب توافر مهارات لدى مراقبي الحسابات كي يؤدي مهامه التدقيقية على وفق معايير التدقيق الدولية والمحلية تتناسب مع بيئة الحاسب , لذلك يهدف البحث الى التعرف على المهارات الواجب توافرها لديهم في ظل تلك المعايير من خلال تصميم استمارة استبانة تم توزيعها على عينة من مراقبي الحسابات في ديوان الرقابة المالية ومكاتب التدقيق الخاصة في العراق , وتم تحليل نتائج تلك الاستبانة وفق الأساليب العلمية الإحصائية بقصد تحقيق صحة فرضية البحث, إذ توصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن هناك مهارات لدى مراقبي الحسابات عينة البحث يمكن توظيفها في أداء مهامهم التدقيقية بالعناية المهنية المطلوبة ووفقاً …

October 7, 2011, marked a decade since the United States invaded Afghanistan and initiated the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). While most ten-year anniversary gifts involve aluminum, tin, or diamonds, the greatest gift U.S. policymakers can present American citizens is a reconsideration of the logic that guides America's counterterrorism strategy. Although the United States has successfully averted large-scale domestic terrorist attacks, its inability to grasp the nature of the enemy has cost it dearly in wasted resources and, more importantly, lost lives. This dissertation investigates factors that influence effective use of Knowledge Management (KM) in Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) operations in the military.

The study suggests that effective KM program is determined by the interaction of three organizational capabilities: knowledge infrastructure, knowledge process, and leadership orientation.

A self-administrated survey was conducted on 300 NATO staff officers who have served in C-IED environments. A structural equation modeling technique was used to test a set of hypotheses using 118 completed responses collected from the survey.

Mountain Monitor Quarterly

Recovery was firmly underway in the Intermountain West by the fourth quarter of 2011 but its pace varied considerably across the region’s 10 major metropolitan areas. Six of the 10 metros saw job growth in the fourth quarter but only four saw it accelerate over the previous one. Output grew everywhere but only in half of the region’s metros did the pace of growth quicken. The unemployment rate was down across the board from one year earlier. House prices in most markets stabilized. Yet signs of a robust, sustained, and self-fueling recovery remained elusive.

This report examines the uses of the Greater Yellowstone MapGuide (both the printed and website versions) and how this tool has influenced those who use it. The Greater Yellowstone MapGuide appears to be a tool that is influencing visitors to the area in many ways. The MapGuide appears to influence where they stay, where they drive, and the activities in which they participate. The findings of this study suggest that the Geotourism concept, as portrayed by the MapGuide, is a successful tool in visitor management.
