Digital Transformation And Esg Performance In China: The Mediating Role Of Green Innovation, Zhou Yanyu

This study explores the relationship between digital transformation and ESG performance in Chinese A-share listed companies, focusing on the mediating role of green innovation. From the view of resource-based theory, the digital transformation is found to the first enhances ESG performance and how green innovation serves as a key transmission mechanism. Using fixed-effects regression analysis based on 6,763 firm-year observations from 2015 to 2023. The empirical results indicate that digital transformation improves ESG performance by fostering green innovation, which in turn partially mediates this effect. Public transport (PT) is crucial for enhancing the quality of life and enabling sustainable urban development. As part of the UK Transport Investment Strategy, increasing PT usage is critical to achieving efficient and sustainable mobility. This paper introduces Machine Learning Influence Flow Analysis (MIFA), a novel framework for identifying the key influencers of PT usage. Using survey data from bus passengers in Southern England, we evaluate machine learning models. Subsequently, MIFA uncovers that easy payments, e-ticketing, and mobile applications can substantially improve the PT service. As the way we work changes, it is important to understand how these technologies change the way we communicate and how we build trust. This project, based on research done through an Edgren Scholarship, has culminated in a book co-authored with David Horsager and published by Berrett-Koehler. The book has opened conversations related to challenges like proximity bias, remote accountability, employee burnout, meeting structures, and the changing nature of nonverbal communication.

Prisoner-on-prisoner sexual abuse is widespread in US male prisons, with inmates “turning each other out” by sexually assaulting each other. While the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) received unanimous support in Congress in 2003, motivated by the Human Rights Watch Report “No Escape: Male Rape in Prisons,” scholars argue that the PREA fails to protect prisoners from prison rape: for example, its standards may be ineffective or criminalize consensual sex between prisoners. In casino games using a standard deck of cards, a wash shuffle is sometimes performed prior to the rest of the card shuffling procedure. Unlike other methods of shuffling, the wash shuffle has not yet been well studied. To this end, we first develop a mechanistic model of the wash shuffle based on our observation of how cards tend to move when a wash shuffle is being performed. This paper presents an exploratory case study detailed as a pedagogical experience report on integrating adversarial Large Language Model (LLM) scenarios into a graduate cybersecurity curriculum. In addition to prompt injection, sophisticated techniques such as jailbreaking and model inversion pose emerging threats that traditional computer security curricula often lack. The adiabatic potential energy curves for the lowest singlet and triplet electronic states in the representations 2S+1Λ+/- and Ω(+/-) (with and without spin-orbit coupling) of the molecule AlI have been computed by using the complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) with multireference configuration interaction (MRCI+Q) method. The spectroscopic constants ωe, Re, Be, and Te have been calculated. Using the canonical quantum mechanics approach, the rovibrational constants Ev, Bv, Dv, Rmin, and Rmax were calculated for the low-lying electronic states with and without spin-orbit coupling. A comparison between our calculated values and those available in the literature reveals excellent agreement.

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into organizational processes has altered how work is performed and experienced by employees, yet empirical research examining the human implications of AI-driven change remains limited. This study examined the perceived impact of AI implementation on role ambiguity, employee motivation, and training engagement, and investigated the moderating role of perceived organizational support (POS). Digital services represent a business approach employed by organizations to operate in the digital environment. However, systematic development guidelines for developing quality digital service systems are lacking in the literature. The authors identified four general challenges for developing and implementing customer-engaging digital service systems (CEDSS). By employing the method of canonical action research in a digital service system project, they derived 10 design principles for developing high-quality CEDSS. They empirically evaluated the design principles in the development project and through follow-up focus group sessions. The design principles provide applicable and actionable guidelines for the development of CEDSS.

As collaborative work with artificial intelligence (AI augmentation) gains interest, it is crucial to investigate factors that affect how employees perceive and use AI tools at work. Drawing on task-technology fit and technology adoption theories, this dissertation examines the ways in which task dimensions, organizational contexts, and individual differences affect the perceived usefulness of working with AI tools. This dissertation demonstrates that task-technology fit is fundamental. Employees in jobs with high information processing demands are likely to positively perceive the usefulness of AI augmentation relative to employees in jobs with high interpersonal demands. The purpose of this review was to examine how artificial intelligence–enabled revenue cycle management (AI-enabled RCM) systems have been associated with financial performance outcomes in healthcare organizations. A literature review following a systematic process consistent with PRISMA 2020 guidelines was conducted to identify quantitative studies published between 2015 and 2026. Eligible studies were required to report at least one financial outcome related to claim denial rate, days in accounts receivable, or operating margin.
