According to 2020 data collected from the Economic Research Service of the United States Department of Agriculture, 10.5% of all households in the U.S. face food insecurity. Using grocery supply chains as a context, this study examines how food banks serve as sustainable resources for the distribution of recovered food to feed food insecure communities. Rural transit providers face unique challenges beyond those of their urban counterparts, including worse road conditions, access to trained labor, tighter budget constraints, and higher miles per rider. To date, transportation economics and policy research is scarce for this essential service in rural geographies due to data paucity. Employing the Generalized Translog Cost-minimization model, the core innovation in this paper is presenting the first illustration of the cost-minimization strategies available to transit providers when faced with the constraints of sparsely populated geographic settings. RRiSC is a convergence of mature tools and techniques embedded in three modules: Modeling, Simulation, and Visualization – all together integrate the optimization, simulation, and data analytics to test the performance of the whole supply network under different scenarios through measuring the vital KPIs, identifying the vulnerabilities, and setting proactive plans to diminish risks consequences.

Third party logistic (TPL) companies contribute to develop more effective and efficient logistic operations. One way to help this development is having a TPL company can be the orchestrator of a collaborative systems and implementations to do the SCM more efficient to the participants.

In this paper, we consider the multi-period joint capacity allocation and job assignment problem. The goal of the planner is to simultaneously decide on allocating resources across the J different supply nodes, and assigning of jobs of I different demand origins to these J nodes, so as to maximize the reward for matching or minimize the cost of failure to match. This study aimed to explore how food supply chains were impacted by COVID-19 and identify how the region could be better prepared for future crises. An online survey was completed by 107 consumers. In-depth interviews were conducted with 27 food supply stakeholders working in food production, distribution, retail, hospitality, institutions (i.e., childcare), logistics/freight and local government. Pre-COVID-19, farmer-direct distribution options and hospitality businesses comprised a substantial proportion of local food producer businesses. During the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers favoured local food supply options, farmers collaborated, and produce usually destined for export was redirected into local markets. يهدف البحث الى قياس اثر الممارسات المحاسبية على الاداء المالي. وذلك من خلال استخدام نموذج جونز لقياس الممارسات المحاسبية ونموذجي العائد على السهم والعائد على حقوق الملكية لقياس الاداء المالي . وذلك من خلال اختيار عينة مكونة من شركة من الشركات المدرجة في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية وتوصل البحث الى مجموعة من الاستنتاجات كان ابرزها ان هنالك اثر للممارسات المحاسبية على الاداء المالي . كما توصل البحث الى مجموعة من التوصيات كان من اهمها بذل الجهود لتوعية ادارة الشركات حول الآثار السلبية لممارسات المحاسبية وانها لا تمثل حلا مناسبا لإظهار الاداء الجيد للشركات وذلك لعدم استمرارية هذا الحل على المدى …
