This study proposes a holistic strategy for sustainable supplier management by integrating the Purchasing Portfolio Matrix (PPM), Supplier Positioning Matrix (SPM), and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) within the Indonesian furniture industry. The study aims to enhance supplier segmentation and decision-making by incorporating economic, relational, and environmental dimensions into a unified framework. A case study approach is employed using the Best–Worst Method (BWM) to evaluate 74 suppliers, followed by portfolio analysis and environmental impact assessment. The literature review incorporates the design and key insights of a systematic review and identifies directions for future research. Inventory disclosure is a form of availability signaling through which retailers strategically communicate stock levels to influence consumer buy-now-or-wait decisions. This research examines whether the auto-specific provisions introduced under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) have had a measurable regionalizing effect on North American export flows. The USMCA's auto-specific provisions, established in the rules of origin requirements (ROOs), increase regional value content requirements (RVC) while imposing new requirements for labor value content (LVC), steel and aluminum sourcing, and core parts. This research assesses whether these provisions are associated with a distinctive pattern of intra-regional export concentration not present in other sectors.

This thesis evaluates whether the Russo Ukrainian war represents a revolution in military affairs (RMA) by testing Stephen Biddle’s "modern system" theory of battlefield outcomes against recent combat operations. Applying Biddle’s formal model to the 2023 Ukrainian offensive in Zaporizhia, the thesis finds that the offensive's failure conforms closely to Biddle’s causal logic, with force employment variables drawn from 20th century combat sufficient to account for the outcome. This study explores the differences between faculty who have and have not led study abroad programs at a southeastern U.S. public university. Using survey responses from 133 faculty members, the research examines professional and motivational variables that influence participation. Findings reveal that those who have led study abroad programs tend to be satisfied with their experiences, report higher perceptions of student cultural competency gains, and are more likely to recommend such programs to peers. Additionally, experiential learning emerged as a central theme, with faculty highlighting the pedagogical value of immersive global education. Barriers to participation were also investigated. This paper investigates the hyper-connected workplace and how the modern employee deals with job stress in their work environment. Using the theory of compensatory consumer behavior and partial least squares structural equation modeling, we investigate how job stress impacts employees in the workplace to shop online. This shopping is done via cyberloafing, which is using the internet for personal reasons at work. Psychological detachment is also studied as a mediator. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed for managers in the workplace as well as businesses marketing to individuals taking a break on the clock.

Fueled by the demand for battery technology and electric vehicles, cobalt has become an essential element to the green energy transition. During a summer internship with the Transportation Department at O’Reilly Automotive, data inconsistencies were addressed in the Transportation Management System (TMS), and that data was utilized to create tracking compliance standards for third-party carriers. In 10 years, private-equity firms' share of hospitals has grown from 2-3% to 8%.  Using data from two sources: the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient surveys and the Private Equity Stakeholder Project (PESP), I demonstrate a causal effect of private-equity ownership on patient satisfaction using difference-in-difference methods.

We propose an exact solution approach to the Guaranteed Service Model (GSM), one of the most widely applied models for optimizing safety stock placement in supply chain networks. Based on linear programming (LP), our approach handles any directed acyclic network and any cost function that depends on a stage's incoming and outgoing service times. It scales polynomially in the number of nodes n in the network, and exponentially in its treewidth, which quantifies how "tree-like" a network is, and can be much smaller than n. Research Aims: This study aims to analyse the influence of top management's commitment on competitive advantage through supply chain digitalisation, responsiveness, and resiliency.

Design/Methodology/Approach: Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to manufacturing practitioners with a minimum supervisory position. A total of 203 valid questionnaires were analysed. Data processing was performed using SmartPLS version 4.0 to test measurement and structural models.

Research Findings: The study results indicate that eight hypotheses are accepted and one is rejected. Order picking is the most labor-intensive activity in warehousing, accounting for approximately 55% of total operating expenses. This study evaluates the efficiency and quality trade-offs among three primary picking methods: Single, Batch, and Zone. Conducted via an educational simulation, the study utilized a 60-SKU alphanumeric Lego inventory system where four participants executed picking cycles to measure operational lead time and quality variance.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI) in reducing the bullwhip effect within a simulated supply chain using the Beer Game model. Three decision-making approaches were compared: traditional human-only ordering with limited information, AI-assisted ordering using ChatGPT, and collaborative decision-making with full information sharing across supply chain tiers. Supply chain performance was evaluated over four simulation rounds using key operational metrics, including order variability, inventory levels, backorders, and customer service performance. This study investigates flood induced disruptions in the Indian electronics supply chain using influence network analysis. Monsoon floods are recurring hazards that significantly impact economic activities, logistics, and industrial productivity. This study integrates district-level rainfall data (2020 to 2025) with supply chain network models to quantify cascading failures. The methodology applies rainfall thresholds (≥ 300 mm/month) to identify flood-prone districts and constructs a stochastic influence matrix representing inter-firm dependencies.
