This paper discusses the relationship of the regulatory barriers and the level of innovation with regards to drones in the logistics industry. This relationship is shown in a cohesive and understandable two-by-two matrix that combines both industry and academic articles using a context analysis. This entire matrix not only shows where we are currently with drone technology but also where we are headed within logistics.
