The Blockchain is a distributed database that is maintained as Blocks and contains all transactions or digital occurrences. These are the records of transactions that take place between parties.Blockchain blocks are kept as blocks and shared among participants. Each Block is examined, validated, and saved by the parties who are a part of the system/network, each brick is unique and contains the details of a single transaction as well as the transaction's hash key. The study offers insights to researchers about the opportunity threat and future use of blockchain in the public sector.

The Effect Of Incentive Hierarchy System Of Social Media In The Delivery Of Quality Information, Peng Xie, Peng Xie

This paper investigates the effect of social media incentive hierarchy system on the quality of the shared information and the spillover effect using data from 67 cryptocurrency markets along with the corresponding social media discussions. We show empirical evidence that high-rank social media users displaying high-level badges earned from the social media tend to provide low-quality information due to reduced incentives after obtaining the badge and increased tendency to engage in less informative socialization activities. In contrast, low-rank social media users with low-level badges tend to provide high-quality information. However, messages shared by high-rank social media users spill over to …

This paper focuses on the evolution of cryptocurrencies. It traces the history of early cryptography, the ‘cypherpunk’ movement, and how the work of some cyber libertarians and cryptographers enabled the emergence of popular cryptocurrencies. The paper then focuses on Bitcoin. It delves into the technology behind the Bitcoin architecture and shows how exactly this technology works. The paper then does an analysis of security and regulatory considerations that affect the growth of Bitcoin-based businesses. The paper concludes with some suggestions for future work in the area.
