Information prospecting or mining has never been more crucial in organizational decision making and strategic competitive advantage. Without information and communication technologies (ICTs), most companies, particularly the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) would not be able to survive the demands of the current volatile economic conditions. Hence, this paper reports the findings from the assessment of ICT usage by 300 SMEs in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. Specifically, the usage of enterprise resource planning system (ERP) was assessed and the outcome showed that SMEs in Malaysia are still lagging in computer usage for improved organizational decision. In today’s business environment the top down approach to management has fundamentally disappeared. Baby boomers, gen x and gen y managers bring different management styles and thinking to global organizations. This paper identifies eight current research articles (published within the past five years) that synthesize and apply four trends in strategic management that are crucial for the field in the future. The four trends are ranked 1-4, with 1 being most important. The ranking are justified.

Dark tourism and the commodification of death has become a pervasive feature within the contemporary visitor economy. Drawing upon the thanatological condition of society and a structural analysis of modern-day mortality, this paper establishes theoretical foundations for exploring dark tourism experiences. The study argues that in Western secular society where ordinary death is sequestered behind medical and professional façades, yet extraordinary death is recreated for popular consumption, dark tourism mediates a potential social filter between life and death. The purpose of this article is to educate schools and candidates about opportunities available for employment within the field of entrepreneurship in higher education. Data is provided from June, 1989 through June, 2010 on advertised candidates and positions throughout the world. The article examines the trends over the past 21 years with a primary focus on how the current economic crisis is affecting the job environment. The findings of this study show that the field has matured in regards to tenure track and non tenure track positions. Implications and recommended strategies are discussed for both candidates and school administrators.

A select number of universities are invited to visit Buffett every year. Gonzaga University was fortunate to be invited by Buffett based on an innovative assignment assigned by Dr. Todd A. This article examines the financial activities within a sample of entrepreneurship centers in the United States. 249 entrepreneurship centers were surveyed about their center's endowments, budgets, salaries, fundraising, seminars/workshops and other financial activities. We received 122 responses for a 49% response rate. The findings of this research can be used as a benchmark for both U.S. schools and center directors in deter,mining benchmarks for their respective centers.
