The abrupt closure of universities due to the coronavirus pandemic caused unprecedented challenges for educators. They struggled to transition to online teaching almost overnight. This study aimed at assessing the efficiency of the partial Credit Model, in Calibration of polytomous items for the purposes of the study, an achievement test in chemistry for the second secondary class was prepared. The test consisted of 20 polytomous items which differed in the number of steps in each item. The test was administered to a sample of 771 male and female students. Mor specifically, the follwing findings were of particular importance: 1. Item difficulty increased as the number of the item steps increased. 2. The Effect Of Leadership Styles On ‎Resistance To Change With The Workers, Shaker Al-Khashali

This research attempts to study the relationship between leadership style and employees resistance ‎to change at industrial firms in Jordan. A simple of (191) employees is selected from (3) of the largest ‎industrial firms.‎ Results show an overall “above – average” degree of resistance to change, the same degree of ‎resistance under associated with democratic leadership style.‎ Results, also, show that authoritarian leadership style is positively associated with resistance to ‎change (organizational, subjective, economic, and culture dimension), and democratic leadership ‎style is negatively correlated with organizational dimension of resistance only (and not other ‎dimension). Banker and Haghes (1994) demonstrated the economic sufficiency of normal activity - based ‎unit cost for optimal pricing decisions. This paper provides an agency paralle to their analysis by ‎examining how, in the presence of capacity cost, the desirable tradeoff between risk- sharing ‎and incentives can be achieved through modification of the performance measures on which ‎the contract is based. Similar to Banker and Hughes (1994), it was found in this study that the ‎optimal capacity cost allocation is a function only of budgeted volume when capacity can be ‎used to product a single product. His experiences may serve as a prescriptive text to servicemembers, providing critical lessons on military warfare and philosophy still relevant today.

Finding Aids

The Elmer E. Hashbarger photographs consist of several albumen print photographs of Hashbarger’s work as a cattle driver.

Elmer Ellsworth Hashbarger was born in Richland, Ohio in 1866 to Andrew and Mary Hashbarger. His family eventually moved to Kincaid, Kansas. Harshbarger worked as a cattle driver in the Oklahoma panhandle. In Beaver, Oklahoma, he married Ida Scott, a marriage that produced four children. In his later years he moved back to the township of Rich, east of Kincaid. Elmer died in 1935.

Buses are networks for both physical and social mobility. They permit people to become part of temporary communities of individuals whose goal is to travel along linear routes, which connect multiple stops and reach certain destinations. Through an ethnographic case study of Bus No. 163, which is designated for Jewish pilgrims traveling to Rachel’s tomb in Jerusalem, this paper focuses on the interactions between travelers that took place on this bus during December 2019 and February 2020. The aim of this paper is to introduce a method for analysing a specific kind of contemporary tourism positioned between two different traditional customs: visiting museums and going to pilgrimage sites. Walter Glen Ruff (1904-1989) was born in Kansas and graduated from Fort Hays State Teachers College. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Kansas in 1940. Following this, he taught instrumental and vocal music on both the high school and college level. Ruff served with the American Red Cross in India and Ceylon during World War II. Finding Aids

The Edward Skelton diary consists of daily entries from January 1^st, to November 14^th, 1875 with purchases and expenses registered from 1878-1879. Most diary entries mention daily farm work, hangouts, the weather and Sunday School. The entries are short and also describe daily activities of plowing, cutting timber, going to the market, and visiting the neighbors.

Edward Skelton was born in 1854 and lived in Labette County, Kansas with his parents. Edward worked as a farmer and was married to Artie Storey in 1880. Edward Skelton died in 1915.
