Spiritually Integrative Archetypal Energies And Glimpes Into Soul Consciousness, Carroy U. Ferguson
Spiritually Integrative Archetypal Energies And Glimpes Into Soul Consciousness, Carroy U. Ferguson
Carroy U "Cuf" Ferguson, Ph.D.
In other writings I have described Archetypal Energies as Higher Vibrational Energies that have their own transcendent value, purpose, quality, and “voice” unique to the individual that operate deep within our psyches, at both individual and collective levels. We tend to experience them as “creative urges” to move us toward our Highest Good or Optimal Realities. I use easily recognized terms to evoke a common sense of these Archetypal Energies (e.g., Love, Acceptance, Inclusion, Harmony, Peace). Here, I want to discuss Spiritually Integrative Archetypal Energies and how they can assist us in gaining glimpses into the nature of our unique …
Bounty Chords: Music, Dance And Cultural Heritage On Norfolk And Pitcairn Islands, Philip Hayward
Bounty Chords: Music, Dance And Cultural Heritage On Norfolk And Pitcairn Islands, Philip Hayward
Professor Philip Hayward
Bounty Chords maps a rich and complex cultural history. Beginning with the Bounty mutiny in 1789, Philip Hayward analyses the establishment of the first Pitcairn Island settlement by mutineers and Tahitians in 1790, the mass relocation to Norfolk Island in 1855 and the subsequent development of the two island communities. Focusing on the central role of song and dance in forging local heritage and identity,Haywardprovides a vivid picture of the hybrid societies that developed on Pitcairn andNorfolk islands during the 19th and 20th centuries. Drawing on a wide range of historical sources and his own interactions with musicians and dancers, …

Empoderamiento - La Cultura, Reclamando Derechos E Identidad Y Expresión Poética En El Valle Del Chota, Hannah Roth
Hannah Roth

The Haitian Creole Language is the first book that deals broadly with a language that has too long lived in the shadow of French. With chapters contributed by the leading scholars in the study of Creole, it provides information on this language's history; structure; and use in education, literature, and social interaction. Although spoken by virtually all Haitians, Creole was recognized as the co-official language of Haiti only a little over twenty years ago. The Haitian Creole Language provides essential information for professionals, other service providers, and Creole speakers who are interested in furthering the use of Creole in Haiti …
Forest Of Eyes: Selected Poetry Of Tada Chimako, Jeffrey Angles
Forest Of Eyes: Selected Poetry Of Tada Chimako, Jeffrey Angles
Jeffrey Angles
One of Japan's most important modern poets, Tada Chimako (1930-2003) gained prominence in her native country for her sensual, surreal poetry, and fantastic imagery. Although Tada's writing is an essential part of postwar Japanese poetry, her use of themes and motifs from European, Near Eastern, and Mediterranean history, mythology, and literature, as well as her sensitive explorations of women's inner lives make her very much a poet of the world. Forest of Eyes offers English-language readers their first opportunity to read a wide selection from Tada's extraordinary oeuvre, including nontraditional free verse, poems in the traditional forms of tanka and …
