Harris County plans to extend Center Street from its current position just south of the intersection at Fairmont Parkway to residential area across Armand Bayou. As a result of public funding and property involved with the proposed project, an intensive pedestrian survey of the proposed linear right-of-way was conducted to complete permitting requirements of the Antiquities Code of Texas, enforced by the Texas Historical Commission. The survey was performed under Antiquities Permit Number 7067, issued to David M. Yelacic, who also carried out fieldwork and subsequent reporting.

On February 25, 2015, Moore Archeological Consulting, Inc., conducted a cultural resource survey investigation of the Memorial Woods Town Home Complex prior to the removal of several homes, near a section of Spring Branch, in central Harris County, Texas. The objectives of the investigation were to locate and identify cultural materials, sites, or historic properties within the proposed impact area, and to prepare management recommendations regarding any identified resources. HRA Gray & Pape, LLC., of Houston, Texas performed an intensive archaeological pedestrian and reconnaissance-level walkover survey on an estimated 21.4-hectare (53-acre) property designated for residential development in Harris County, Texas. The project is being conducted on private property in anticipation of potential United States Army Corps of Engineers permitting requirements.

The Timber Lane Utility District plans to construct a hike and bike trail adjacent to and across Cypress Creek in the unincorporated town of Spring, Harris County, Texas. The project would begin north of Cypress Creek with connection to the existing Timber Lane Park paved trail system and would terminate south of Cypress Creek near Werrington subdivision.

An intensive archeological survey was completed in order to inventory and evaluate archeological resources within the footprint of proposed widening improvements to Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 2100 between South Diamondhead Boulevard (Blvd) and FM 1960 in eastern Harris County, Texas. The project is approximately 7.7 miles or 12.4 kilometers (km) in length and has a typical width of between 100 to 300 feet (ft) or 30 to 91 meters (m); the project will be up to 1,000 ft or 305 m wide at detention pond locations.
