This report documents the substantive findings and management recommendations of the archeological survey conducted by Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC (IES) for the Cottonwood Creek Trail Extension Project (CSJ: 0918-24-214), City of Plano, Collin County, Texas. As the City of Plano is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the proposed project will require coordination with the Texas Historical Commission (THC) prior to construction, per the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). In August 2017, Deep East Texas Archaeological Consultants (DETAC) conducted a cultural resource management survey of the proposed Farmersville sewer system improvements in Collin County, Texas (TWDB/THC #201700814) under Texas Antiquities Permit #7990. Proposed improvements include 12.3 km (7.6 mi) along seven pipelines along with modifications to three lift stations and the construction of four lift stations. Total project area was 7.7 hectares (19.1 acres). Shovel testing and visual examination did not find any evidence of cultural resources; no artifacts were collected. (LAN), SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) conducted an intensive archaeological survey of the proposed 407 McKinney No. 1 to Princeton No. 1 72-inch and 24-inch Pipeline in Collin County, Texas. The proposed 7.6-mile water pipeline will consist of 4,357-feet of new 72-inch-diameter pipeline and 35,843-feet of new 24-inch-diamater pipeline in order to connect an existing 60-inch-diameter pipeline in McKinney, Texas, to an existing connection to the pump station Princeton, Texas. The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) contracted HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR) to conduct an intensive archaeological survey prior to the installation of the proposed North McKinney Pipeline in McKinney, Collin County, Texas. The pipeline will consist of 23,918 linear feet (ft) of pipeline, with a diameter measuring between 72 inches (in) and 84 in, along an approximately 4.53-mile (mi) long easement corridor. Of this total, approximately 3.28 mi have been previously surveyed by Geo-Marine, Inc. in 2009 (Tiné 2009). Thus, the current cultural resources investigation conducted by HDR will cover the remaining 1.25 mi of pipeline easement. The survey …
