Peck talks about serving as a Second Lieutenant as a nurse in the Navy Nurses Corps from 1938 to 1941; serving in the Army Nurses Corps from 1943 to 1945; serving on the USAHS Acadia, which sailed to the Bay of Naples and Normandy.
