Hobson, Bowling Green, Kentucky. The “Civil Engineer and Real Estate Agent” reports on a purchase of land in Dallas, outlines a plan for developing “our grounds” as building lots, and discusses the economic outlook for Dallas. Includes a deed, 19 December 1873, to Hobson’s son Joseph V. Hobson of lands in Dallas County, Texas, reciting that payment was made through Obenchain as his agent.
