Landmark Conference Summer Research Symposium
In the spring semester 2019, Honors students enrolled in HON 201 Elizabethtown History: Campus and Community, conducted National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 Reviews documenting historic properties in the National Historic District of Marietta, PA. Kyle Cappucci, a student in the class, built on this research and expanded the scope of the project for SCARP. Cappucci utilized primary sources found in archival collections and historic collection libraries, conducted oral history interviews, worked with government documents, consulted with professional historians in academia, state, and federal agencies.
