The O'Callahan Society resumes the tradition of an annual dinner after a two-year hiatus. This year's speaker is R. Peter Kimener ’67, a leader in business and a Silver Star recipient for his actions in the Vietnam War

This year we salute those who have served since 9/11/01 and mark the 80th anniversary of the NROTC Program on the Holy Cross campus.

A report of the Navy and Marine Corps officers commissioned through the Naval ROTC Unit at the College of the Holy Cross from 1944 to 2021. This report is a revised and expanded version of the Unit's history, published in 2016 by the O'Callahan Society on the occasion of the Unit's 75th anniversary and revised in 2017 and 2019. It includes updates, additional information and corrections to the 2016 report.

Associated with this report is a spreadsheet that breaks down the commissioning numbers by year and, within each year, by Service and college. It is included as a supplemental file.

O'Callahan Society Annual Dinner Program

Eighteenth annual dinner sponsored by The O'Callahan Society. This year's event departed from the standard format of a keynote speaker in order to give four individuals, whose lives were dramatically impacted by the Vietnam conflict, the opportunity to speak. Medal of Honor Recipient Captain Thomas G. Kelley, USN (ret) HC ‘60; his wife, Commander Joan Kelley, USNR (ret); former POW Commander Timothy B. Sullivan, USN (ret) HC ’65, and Marine veteran Harry Kustigian have agreed to share their experiences and insights.

This year is dedicated to remembering the men and women who served in Vietnam a half century ago.
