Kings Mountain Baptist Association Minute Books

The 1931 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Zion Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by L. L. Jessup. G.G. Page announced that he will no longer serve as Superintendent of the Kings Mountain Baptist Sunday School Association. The Report on Temperance and Public Morals resolved to oppose gambling and games of chance in the county. The Boiling Springs Junior College Annual Report indicated that the school's football program has been cut due to economy and expense. The Annual Report also asks that the Association's churches put the College in their budget.
