The rise of hybrid concerts, combining live performances with online streaming, has transformed how global K-pop fans engage with performances. While offering flexibility and broad accessibility, this format raises concerns about replicating the emotional and social richness of offline events. This study investigates the motivations, experiences, satisfaction, and future intentions of Thai fans attending K-pop hybrid concerts via live streaming. It adopts the Uses and Gratifications Theory (UGT) and Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT) as its framework. This study investigates the challenges of translating Korean literary fiction for international audiences, with a focus on Park Sang Young’s Love in the Big City and Anton Hur’s English translation of the novel. This thesis explores the everyday social integration experiences of Russian women married to Korean men and living in urban South Korea. Drawing on the theoretical frameworks of Everyday Multiculturalism and Multicultural Space Making, the study investigates how cultural differences are negotiated in daily life through practices such as language use, food preparation, parenting, household routines and everyday social interactions. Using a qualitative research design, a number of in-depth interviews and supplementary observations were conducted with interlocutors residing in Seoul, Suwon, and Incheon. It seeks to diagnose the root causes of China's "localization failure" and propose a viable ecosystem reconstruction pathway. This research examines the transculturation of Vietnamese K-pop fans’ practices through the case study of Call Me By Fire Vietnamese Version, analyzing how these practices shape domestic fandom and contribute to Vietnam’s entertainment industry. Using a mixed-methods approach (an online survey, twelve in-depth interviews, and digital ethnography), the research applies Transculturation Theory (Ortiz, 1940) and Participatory Culture (Jenkins, 1992, 2006; Jenkins et al., 2016) to conceptualize the show as a contact zone where global fan cultures intersect with local norms. The Value Added Tax (VAT) is a relatively recent innovation compared to traditional taxes such as income and property taxes. Nevertheless, it has been rapidly adopted across jurisdictions worldwide due to its efficiency and revenue-generating capacity. As a general consumption tax, VAT is levied on most goods and services. However, exemptions are commonly granted in many jurisdictions for reasons of social equity, economic policy, or administrative simplicity. This thesis presents a comparative study of large-scale Buddhist paintings Gwaebulhwa in Korea and Thangka/Thongdrol in the Himalayan region focusing on their function, iconography, and socio-cultural context within outdoor ritual practices. The research aims to identify the core ritual functions of these monumental artworks, analyze their iconographic elements, and investigate the economic and institutional structures surrounding their production and use. This study explores the influence of K-pop fan culture on the behavior and engagement of Indonesian fans of the Korean Basketball League (KBL). As K-pop expands globally with its emotionally driven and participatory fandom, similar fan practices are increasingly seen in sports fandom. South Korea’s persistently high youth suicide rate presents an urgent public health challenge, particularly among high school students facing extreme academic pressure and deeply rooted cultural expectations. While the South Korean government has introduced various national mental health policies and school-based initiatives, many adolescents remain reluctant to seek help due to stigma, shame, and fears of burdening others—barriers that are intensified by collectivist cultural values. This research aimed to explore the attitudes, values, and behaviors of Korean audience of Thai Boys’ Love (BL) series, utilizing in-depth interviews with fourteen Korean viewers who participated in this study. They are aged between 18-45 years old. Drawing on multi-attribute attitude theory, Schwartz's value theory, and Ajzen's theory of planned behavior, this research provides a nuanced understanding of how Thai BL series influence Korean viewers in cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. Intergenerational support refers to financial support and emotional support between parents and children. In South Korea and China, intergenerational support is significant in family relationships. This study examines the impact of intergenerational support influencing the elderly decision to work through an empirical research approach using data from CHARLS (China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study) and KLSoA (Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging). The Logit results showed that in South Korea, children’s financial support to parents and emotional communication between generations significantly impacted the elderly’s work choices. The thesis analyzes the migration of Koreans to the Perm region during the Korean enlightenment period. To achieve this goal, the theory of segmental migration was chosen, a hermeneutic approach and discourse analysis were used to analyze archival sources, as well as statistical methods and a database to study the social status of migrants and a comparative method to identify the characteristics of migration. This research examines how the historical Korean drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella" (2022) portrays modern Korean society. By comparing the societal depictions within the drama with contemporary Korean society, it analyzes the benefits and drawbacks of using historical dramas to represent modern social issues. The researcher primarily uses Stuart Hall's theory of representation as a framework.
