The prevalence of mass school shootings in K–12 classrooms has ignited ongoing conversations about arming teachers in school settings to prevent future tragedies and provide a safe learning environment for students. This research study aimed to understand Black parents’ perception of armed teachers in school settings. Critical race theory provided the framework to explore the impact of race and implicit bias on teacher–student social interactions when policies permit teachers to carry firearms. Nonprofit leaders are concerned with employee fraud and embezzlement costs as it is the main predictor of employee wrongdoing and increase the chances of their organization's failure. Bullying in the U.S. workplace is an ongoing issue that transcends industry boundaries due to perpetrators’ ineffectiveness in viewing all coworkers as equals. The purpose of this qualitative interpretative phenomenological analysis study was to explore the lived experiences of Black/African American men who endure workplace colorism bullying. The existence of disproportionate minority contact (DMC) is a serious problem throughout the juvenile justice systems in every state in the United States. The DMC phenomenon is well documented in the 159 counties in the State of Georgia juvenile justice system. The problem addressed in this research was the inappropriate treatment of multicultural individuals by their immediate supervisors and the need for a thorough examination of cultural humility in organizational settings. This quantitative study used linear regression and moderation analyses to examine the relationship between cultural humility and intention to leave moderated by authentic leadership to determine how the participants’ perception of cultural humility in their immediate supervisor predicted their intention to leave. Among African American males, deaths are alarmingly high for reasons that cannot be completely pinpointed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the definition and perception of respect and law enforcement by an African American male and to determine if Goffman’s dramaturgical model is sufficient to explain the social acceptance respect phenomena. Micro-sociological assessments of everyday social interactions are often based on dramaturgy, a sociological perspective. Postsession narrative notes written by professional tutors in a health sciences university writing center had never been analyzed to identify the most common elements noted as subpar in graduate students’ scholarly writing. The purpose of this basic qualitative study was to examine these notes to identify the most common elements noted as subpar in graduate students’ scholarly writing. The conceptual framework was Bloom’s original taxonomy. Hand coding of archival data was used to analyze 300 postsession narrative notes submitted by professional writing tutors during the fall trimester of 2022. Law enforcement has been recognized as a profession with high divorce rates and relationship failure, contributing to reduced mental health in law enforcement. AbstractThis study explored how best to implement Music Therapy (MT) in any hospital setting when working with autistic children, teenagers, and adults. Baldrige’s theory and concepts were used as a benchmark to facilitate all findings through the research conducted. Multiple factors affect the workforce and the existing staff at a large medical facility in the Western United States. Racial microaggressions are statements that occur in everyday life that are regarded as instances of subtle or unintentional discrimination against members of a racial or ethnic minority. For African Americans, racial microaggressions are feelings of denigration and exclusion. AbstractHispanic women are among the ethnic groups with higher cervical cancer rates in the United States. This mixed-method study was conducted to explore perceived barriers and self-efficacy-related factors to cervical cancer screening in foreign-born Hispanic women in Florida. The theory of planned behavior was applied to determine if behavioral intentions influence access to cervical cancer screening.
