The Court ruled that the constitution protected the right to have an abortion, securing choice and bodily autonomy for American women. Dobbs v. The text uses a paragraph from the 1866 masterpiece "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Towards the end of the book, his protagonist, Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, has a feverish dream.
