Theology Faculty Research and Publications
The Chicago-Lambeth Quadrilateral has served as the primary reference point and working document of the Anglican Communion for ecumenical Christian reunion. It identifies four essential elements for Christian unity in terms of scriptures, creeds, sacraments, and the Historic Episcopate. Spenser And The Historical Revolution: Briton Moniments And The Problem Of Roman Britain, John E. Curran Jr.
English Faculty Research and Publications
Curran argues that, since Roman Britain is a key to understanding the historiographical debates of Edmund Spenser's time, the Roman Britain section of Briton Moniments in "The Faerie Queene" needs to be examined. It is here that Spenser acknowledged the direction historiography was taking, and saw how this new trend altered the relation between history and glory.

Theology Faculty Research and Publications

This article studies the problem as it was dealt with by the African Synod, that is, from the perspective of the Code of Canon Law in relation to extremely important issues such as grounds for nullity, consummation of marriage and marital consent. In the author's opinion the Synod opens the way for further discussion and examination of the issues involved rather than provide practical solutions. The pastoral problem of compatibility …
