The following study investigates the best social media practices available for newspapers, with the goal of increasing social media followers and interaction, and gaining increased traffic and readers on a newspapers website. By taking the conclusions about best practices made in the study, the study also works to specifically form best practices recommendations for Mustang Daily, the student-run daily newspaper at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
