If asked about art featuring the Book of Mormon, few Latter-day Saints of today would fail to bring to mind Arnold Friberg’s large, heroic characters and epic scenes. Others have a growing affection for the color- ful Book of Mormon paintings by Minerva Teichert.1 These two artists produced some of the most recognizable images to illustrate the Book of Mormon in the last century.
