Dr. O’Grady was born in Germantown, formerly Irishtown, Philadelphia, Pa, in 1934. He attended North East Catholic High School and then attended La Salle College beginning in 1952 majoring in History and Education. While at La Salle he participated in the army program, ROTC, the Caisson Club, and several other organizations. Upon graduation in 1956 he attended Notre Dame University to obtain his Master’s Degree. Burns (b. 1932 in Scranton PA and d. 2021 in Carlisle, PA) grew up in a number of places during the time of the great depression and spent much of his childhood living in the greater Philadelphia area. Maribel Molyneaux was born in 1934 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. She grew up on a farm with her three siblings and other extended family. She graduated high school at the top of her class, and after graduating, she married at the age of 21 . Her husband, Jim Molyneaux is the brother of Gerry Molyneaux, a Christian brother in the Communication Department at La Salle University. Maribel had four children and decided to return to school at the age of 40. She attended her local community college for two years, and then transferred to La Salle University. Marc Moreau was born in 1948 in Lewiston, Maine. His family is French Canadian, and the part of town where he grew up was a pocket for French-speaking people. It was referred to as a "Petit-Canada." Lewiston's economy centered on textile mills. All of his grandparents and both of his parents worked in the mills during their lives. His mother later became a nurse during World War II, and his father served in the army during that time but later returned to the mills. Moreau has a younger sister and brother.
