Dr. Lloyd Morton, (who will associate with him, Mrs. Albert Dailey,) is hereby appointed a Commission to proceed to Washington, on a tour of inspection, having in view the welfare of the sick and wounded soldiers in hospital or otherwise, belonging to Rhode Island regiments.

Index to the Printed Acts and Resolves of, and of the petitions and reports to the General Assembly of the State of Rhode Island, from the year 1850-1862.
In January, 1853, the General Assembly passed a resolution directing the Secretary of State to make a complete Index of all the printed Schedules, or Acts and Resolves of the General Assembly which were destitute of such Index. This was, accordingly, after great labor, accomplished. Subsequently this work was completed to the end of the year 1850.
