A pamphlet prepared by the University of Maine Memorial Fund Committee to explain plans for constructing a new gymnasium on campus that would serve as a memorial in honor of those who died in World War I. Pages 18-21 include names and photographs of the forty-two men to whom the New Gymnasium Armory was to be dedicated. Pamphlet includes images of men's and women's athletic activities and recreational facilities available at other colleges in New England.
