The year of 1969 was an outwardly quiet one as far as SAHS matters were concerned. I knew when I was reelected to the presidency of the society at the last annual meeting in New York a year ago that its affairs had been well handled and that everything was in good order. This excellent state of affairs was the result of the work of a fine board of officers who performed their duties with care and dispatch.
