This paper examines how the tour guide interpreter’s professional preparation impact to tourism service in Uzbekistan. Situated on the Silk Road, Uzbekistan has ever been one of the very attractive tourist destination. Recent political and economic changes in the country open wide doors for tourists. Increasing of the tourist quantity demands skillful experienced guides. Thus teaching guides needs new approaches, especially in foreign language teaching methods.

The article is devoted to analysis of the development of CLIL approach which is gaining considerable attention of world educators because ofits dual aim: teaching a foreign language through content and teaching content through a foreign language. The material of the study was a theoretical framework offered by the founders of this approach.
