This theory study shows the possible relations between adolescence and spiritual gifts. The study begins with the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, and adolescence. The results of this study attempts to link the life stage of adolescence with adulthood. The work attempts to suggest that the Holy Spirit works in the same way in the adolescence as He works in adult life. As a stage of life, adolescence may be a possible time for conversion and the possible time to receive spiritual gifts. A Study Of Student And Faculty Perceptions Of The Religious Environment Of Andrews University In Relation To Religiosity, Walter M. Booth

Problem. A report of the perceptions of the environment of an institution can be useful inassessing the effectiveness of that institution. This study assessed student and faculty perceptions of the religious environment of Andrews University, a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) school.

Method. An instrument developed for the study was administered to 350 randomly selected subjects in eight subsamples: non-SDA students, faculty, freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, theological seminary students, and other graduate students. The instrument consisted of inventories to measure perceptions of the religious environment and subject religiosity. Approximately 75% of the subjects completed the instrument. A number of contemporary Western feminists are re-defining their spiritual beliefs and creating ritual practices to reinforce feminine values in their lives. Advocates of feminist spirituality believe that the personal and spiritual dimensions of women’s lives are interrelated. The experience of transcendence and unity is often preceded by personal healing and empowerment for many women. The creation of alternative women’s rituals, a dynamic force in contemporary feminism, is well illustrated in the world of Diane Mariechild.
