This collection is composed microfilm copies of birth, marriage, and death records for selected counties in Kentucky between 1852 to 1910. Due to the nature of these records, completeness of the documents on the roll is uncertain.

Guides to Manuscript Collections

The Jesse Stuart Collection consists primarily of magazines given by Mr. Stuart which contain articles, stories, or poems written by him or about him. Approximately half of these items are in the original publication; the others are photoreproductions of originals lent by Mr. Stuart.

Another significant part of the collection was purchased from International Bookfinders, Inc., of Pacific Palisades, California, and includes first editions of Mr. Stuart’s works, galley proofs, and some manuscript material.
