Public schools in Egypt are considered a valuable asset that should be preserved and sustained, as they play a paramount role for the development of a sustainable community. Whereas, currently, the schools in Egypt are not sustainable from social, economic and environmental perspective as they are generally heavy, fixed and normally irreversible once construction has been completed. This is due to the traditional construction method used in the construction of schools which consumes time and generates a vast amount of waste.
