As a powerful storytelling medium, cinema shapes architectural perceptions by depicting both the presence and absence of biophilic principles in future urban landscapes. This study investigates how cinematic depictions of biophilic architecture influence audience understanding and appreciation. Using film content analysis, case studies, and surveys of architectural professionals, this research examines selected film scenes, evaluating the emotional and perceptual impact of biophilic versus non-biophilic environments. Non-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS) and multipath errors are significant causes of poor accuracy in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). These errors occur when satellite signals are diffracted or reflected by obstacles instead of traveling directly along the Line-Of-Sight (LOS), particularly in urban environments. Such diffracted or reflected signals can reach GNSS receivers, skewing pseudorange measurements and posing challenges to accurate GNSS positioning. The primary objective of this study was to examine the behavior of reinforced concrete beams subjected to shear and torsion and strengthened with external CFRP sheets. To achieve this, seven reinforced concrete beams with identical cross section dimensions (300 mm × 200 mm), shear span (530 mm) were fabricated and tested under combined shear and torsion. Similar flexural and shear reinforcements were used for all specimens. Traditional fragile watermarking schemes often struggle to balance tamper detection accuracy, image quality, and processing speed. This paper presents a novel adaptive fragile watermarking scheme that leverages Canny-edge detection to dynamically adjust watermark embedding based on image features. The proposed approach classifies image regions into smooth and dense areas. Larger 4×4 blocks are employed in smooth regions, prioritizing visual quality and processing speed, while smaller 2×2 blocks are used in edge and dense regions to enhance tamper detection accuracy. Manufacturers aim to produce high-quality, cost-effective products through advanced material forming techniques. This study utilized ABAQUS® software to present and evaluate a finite element model for the incremental forming process of a functionally graded aluminum-copper material (Al-Cu FGM). The developed model incorporated the Lagrangian dynamic framework and the Johnson-Cook constitutive equation. The model enabled accurate estimation of forces, stress, and strain distributions during the incremental forming process of an Al-Cu FGM. In this research, a mathematical model for predicting the consumed length and crimp ratio of pile warp yarns in woven terry towel fabrics was developed. This study examines the effectiveness of prefabricated ultra-high-performance fiberreinforced concrete (UHPFRC) laminates in shear strengthening reinforced concrete (RC) beams. A total of nine reinforced concrete beams were cast and tested under a four-point loading till failure. Tax collection was one of the core preoccupations of the colonial government in Tanganyika (now Tanzania) and other colonies in the Africa that persisted even after independence. Direct taxation formed the basis of colonial taxation in Tanganyika. Head tax was a dominant form of direct taxation with its burden being borne primarily by Africans. This article uses the colonial Njombe District of Tanganyika to explore the responses of the African taxpayers to the head tax. Three main religious traditions—indigenous African beliefs and practices (African religion), Christianity and Islam—have dominated everyday life of communities in Africa today. Scholarship on religion indicates that only African religion originated in Africa— Christianity and Islam are foreign religions.
