This paper presents some predicting formulas of yarn diameter and contraction of ring spun yarns. The study concerned the influence of twist multiplier, yarn count and bulk density. Experiments carried out on different cotton yarns to justify the results of the theoretical analysis. The results obtained with these empirical formulas agree satisfactorily with the actual data.

In the present work a study was made about the effect of the following five Parameters yarn linear density , spindle speed, /traveller size, top roller pressure and cradle opening on the quality of ring spun yarn. The experiments were carried out by varying each parameter at two levels using the fractional factorial technique (9). The experimental design treatment with the help of mini-computer programming was used to determine the effect of mean parameters and two factor interactions and interactions between two parameters were carried out by the method of variance analysis.

This essay aims to analyse the ways in which the myth of the Mare nostrum entered into the artistic iconography of the early twentieth century. It was highly amplified during the Fascist regime thanks to some relevant graphic works, monumental commissions and, above all, temporary exhibitions that were characterized by a propagandistic overtone. The representation of a Mediterranean (in fact Italian) common identity became a fundamental part of a pervasive political strategy. The stylistic choices were conditioned both by the need to emphasize the glorious return of “Latinness” and the incardination of the “new” fascist modernity.

Despite the presence of a national policy restricting the easy access to antibiotics, irrational use of antibiotics continues to be widespread both in human use and livestock production in Lebanon. This study targets the general population in the rural region of Bekaa to assess their knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) towards antibiotic use. A cross sectional questionnaire was completed by 1151 participants, through face-to-face interviews. Study population was randomly selected. Descriptive statistics and correlation tests were applied in data analysis. 69.2% of participants had a very poor knowledge about antibiotics.
