In Côte d'Ivoire, three pedagogical supervisors support more than 400 English language teachers in one regional education directorate. Nationwide, only 85 pedagogical supervisors serve thousands of English language teachers. Limited human and financial resources make regular classroom observation and individualized teacher support challenging.

Classroom observation can contribute to teacher professional development when it is implemented as a constructive process and supported by adequate institutional capacity thereby helping to implement the Competency-Based Approach (CBA) (Nguyen, 2021; UNESCO, 2017)

Dioxin (TCDD) from Agent Orange has persisted in Vietnamese soil and sediments for decades, posing serious risks to human health and ecosystems. Since the early 2000s, Vietnam and the U.S. have collaborated to remediate heavily contaminated “hotspots” at former military airbases. This poster compares current remediation technologies, evaluates their effectiveness, advantages, and limitations and highlights future solutions for sustainable and cost-effective cleanup.

The study aims to examine the process of enrollment and continuation of higher education for young people with foster care backgrounds. An interview survey targeting students and alumni of campus-based support programs (CSP) for students with foster care backgrounds at two universities in the US Pacific Northwest was conducted. The data indicates that secure relationships with caring adults are a significant factor for those who experienced foster care, in order to gain the financial and holistic support to be successful in higher education.

Virtual simulation is an evidence-based teaching strategy that enhances student learning; however, inconsistent faculty preparation limits its implementation in nursing education. A needs assessment identified a practice gap, with 70% of nursing faculty reporting no virtual simulation training within the previous 12 months. Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly integrated into nursing education; however, nursing faculty report inconsistent preparedness, including gaps in AI knowledge and self-efficacy for responsible AI integration. This quality improvement project addressed inconsistent faculty preparedness through an asynchronous AI educational program. The purpose was to address gaps in AI knowledge and self-efficacy, and the aim was to evaluate changes in AI self-efficacy and AI knowledge while supporting AI integration into nursing education. This research study will investigate the impact of animal-assisted interventions (AAI) on social interaction and communication skills of children or young adults formally diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) based on self or parent/caregiver report.

Children with ASD and ADHD experience deficits in communication and social participation that limit engagement in meaningful childhood occupations and peer relationships, highlighting the need for alternative, motivating intervention approaches. Animal-assisted interventions may provide a supportive and engaging environment that promotes emotional regulation, joint attention, and social reciprocity, and communication by enhancing participation in daily occupations.

This doctoral capstone project developed a comprehensive, occupational therapy-informed NICU Caregiver Transition Toolkit to support families as they transition from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to home. The project used clinical observations at the AdventHealth Daytona Beach NICU and AdventHealth Orlando NICU Graduate Clinic, a review of evidence-based literature and existing caregiver education materials, and interdisciplinary collaboration to identify caregiver education needs and guide toolkit development. Educational materials were created in English and Spanish using caregiver-friendly language, visual supports, step-by-step instructions, and QR-code access to digital resources. Low-rank adaptation (LoRA) enables efficient specialization and distribution of large language models through compact adapters. However, untrusted adapters introduce a supply- chain threat: a backdoored adapter can cause a model to gen- erate harmful content, malicious code, political propaganda, or covert advertisements when an input contains a hidden trig- ger. Adapter-agnostic defenses merge the adapter with the base model, which dilutes backdoor signals and reduces detection performance. Existing adapter-aware methods do not address how to safely use a potentially backdoored adapter. Anthropogenic climate change is threatening global biodiversity, with sea turtles particularly vulnerable as offspring sex and developmental success are strongly influenced by incubation temperature. Behavioral plasticity, including the seasonal distribution of reproductive output, may provide short-term mechanisms for mitigating these impacts. Here, we investigated season-wide hatchling sex ratios and emergence success in a small population of green turtles (Chelonia mydas), tracking individual females across their nesting seasons. Sex ratios varied markedly through the nesting season, with later nests producing a greater proportion of male hatchlings. Moreover, sex ratios were relatively consistent among nests laid by individual females. Overall, females producing …
