The size and spatial clustering of water droplets in warm clouds influence cloud evolution and radiation properties and thus are of fundamental importance for the Earth’s energy balance and water cycle. Some proposed mechanisms for droplet growth and precipitation initiation in warm clouds require strong droplet clustering. Resolving such clustering on sub-cm scales remains a challenge. The most detailed observations, collected from aircraft, showed weak mm-scale droplet clustering averaged over kilometer scales in stratocumulus clouds. Background: Although soil burn severity (SBS) is traditionally mapped post-fire, pre-fire predictive approaches remain limited despite their potential to identify areas at risk of soil degradation, runoff and erosion. Aim: To develop a large-scale model for predicting post-fire SBS from pre-fire conditions at ~30 m spatial resolution. Methods: A harmonized dataset of 62 wildfires (2018–2024) was used to build machine learning (ML) frameworks based on Random Forest, eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM), using pre-fire vegetation, climate, soil–terrain and anthropogenic predictors. PURPOSE: The research team transformed a struggling health equity study by redesigning the clinical research infrastructure using population health management concepts and the A3 improvement methodology. The framework embeds the full cycle of clinical research in high acuity settings. Sexual minority (SM) individuals have higher ACE scores than non-SM individuals, and as a result also have worse health outcomes.According to the WHO, ACEs such as abuse & neglect are among the most severe forms of stress an individual may face, with extant literature identifying SM status and ACEs as predictors of substance use. Resilience-building interventions show promise in higher education, yet few studies focus on Latinx college students from migrant farmworker backgrounds (LMFWs), a group facing significant challenges such as acculturative stress, mixed familial immigration status, and educational discontinuity. This quasi-experimental single-case design study examined resilience domains among LMFW students participating in a group-based intervention informed by the predictive 6-factor resilience model. Resilience was measured across six domains: collaboration, vision, tenacity, reasoning, health, and composure, using standardized assessments adapted from Rossouw and Rossouw (2018). We disclose a method for automatically constructing and validating Natural Language Inference (NLI) training pairs from unlabeled regulatory corpora in the accounting and tax domain (e.g., accounting standards, standard-setter Q&A, tax rulings, tax-tribunal decisions, audit opinions, regulatory-filing notes). The core is a provenance-conditional arbitration rule that assigns label adoption authority according to the source type of each pair, combined with asymmetric agreement thresholds, structure-relation label derivation, domain antonym contradiction synthesis, and numeric-equivalence pair generation. Publishing this defensively secures freedom to operate and blocks third-party patents on the technique.

This disclosure presents a distributed control-plane mechanism that enables green energy-aware Traffic Engineering (TE) path computation in IS-IS and OSPF-TE networks. A router configured as renewable-energy-powered advertises a new Green Energy Capability sub-TLV in its TE advertisements. Routers in the same IGP domain learn this attribute and build a green-aware topology map. A tunnel-level policy can then constrain TE path computation to green-enabled nodes only. The mechanism is backward compatible and does not require an external controller.

Chatbots are increasingly used in public service delivery, yet many remain difficult to use because their scope, conversational flow and persona are poorly designed. This study evaluates whether a human-centered design (HCD) approach can improve the usability of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) chatbot developed for the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA). The chatbot was designed iteratively through stakeholder consultation and expert input, with explicit attention to scope clarity, error handling, multi-turn flow and transparent persona design. This reflective-practice study examines how kapwa and pakikipagkapwa emerged through translation, rehearsal, staging, and reception in three Philippine productions of Samuel Beckett: Endgame (2016), Happy Days (2019), and the devised classroom piece Beckett, Godot & Us Waiting (2023). Using comparative production analysis and a dialogical co-performance orientation drawn from Dwight Conquergood, I analyze rehearsal exercises, adaptation notes, production materials, staging decisions, and remembered performer-audience encounters.
