In this issue of the Wooster Voice, there is an article detailing the history of Chinese students in America, specifically the history of Dr. Yung Wing, a Chinese national brought to America by a missionary who became the first Chinese Yale graduate in the 1840s. A student periodical founded by John W. Wayland, a member of the Philomathean Literary Society.
