The second Lyceum Theatre was built by H.L. Brinkley in 1894 at Second and Jefferson. This new Lyceum interior was lavishly decorated in a Spanish motif, with imperial green, rich yellow, and gold. Program of George White presents "George White Scandals of 1937", The 12th Stage Edition at the Orpheum Theatre, Memphis, Tennessee, on November 25-26, 1936. The program states "Stars! Stars! A million dollars' worth! Song Hits! New! Peppy! You'll hum 'em! Hilarity! Glorious! Uproarious! Only 2 Days." The “new” Orpheum Theatre was built in 1928 as a vaudeville theater after fire destroyed the original building. The lavish “New Orpheum,” as it was often called, featured brocade draperies, crystal chandeliers, gilded moldings, and a Mighty Wurlitzer organ.

This paper explores experiential liveness discourse through the lens of phenomenology, semiotics, and auto-ethnographical research. This thesis examined previous experiential liveness studies and discourses and how these ideologies build a discourse centred around audience/performer relationships, communitas and virtual communities. It explores the interactions between experiential and ontological liveness through documentation, digital archiving and Descartesian dualism. Further, this thesis re-frames core ontological terms within the phenomenological liveness context. It examines event and ritual as experiences and explores my experiences of liveness with reference to previous experiential liveness studies. Elkton is a rural Virginia town eager to revitalize its downtown. After years of decline, there is a newfound interest in developing the downtown commercial district. This plan addresses community goals and current market conditions to provide implementable recommendations for revitalization in a rural context. The recommendations are modeled after the Main Street America Community Transformation strategy and primarily focus on vacant property abatement and utilizing urban design tactics to create a walkable district.

Judge McMillian was Missouri’s first Black judge to sit on the state circuit court, state appellate court, and federal appellate court. Background: The role of the nurse and the way in which nursing care is delivered has undergone significant change in recent years. Enrolled nursing, in particular, epitomises the extent of these changes. The scope within which enrolled nurses (ENs) may now practice grows ever wider, reaching into the skill domains once reserved for registered nurses (RNs). Medication administration is one such example. These changes, while addressing issues of nursing shortages and workforce flexibility, have also resulted in increasing role confusion between RNs and ENs, creating issues around appropriate delegation and adequate supervision.

This Article traces two interwoven jurisprudential genealogies. The first of these focuses on the emergence of neutrality in speech and press doctrine. Content and viewpoint neutrality are now the bedrock principles of modern First Amendment law. Yet the history of these concepts is largely untold and otherwise misunderstood. Scholars usually assume that expressive-freedom doctrine was mostly undeveloped before the early twentieth century and that neutrality was central to its modern rebirth. But this view distorts and sometimes even inverts historical perspectives. For most of American history, the governing paradigm of expressive freedom was one of limited toleration, focused on protecting …
