Examining The Potential For Bundling The Attractions Along The Grand Strand, Mark Mitchell, Michael Collins, L. Taylor Damonte
The Coastal Business Journal
The Grand Strand area offers a broad assortment of entertainment and amusement options for its 14 million annual visitors. This paper examines the possibility of price bundling of area attractions. Two options are advanced: Targeted Selections and Broader Selections. Market-specific factors (such as seasonal demand for some attractions) may limit the effectiveness of such programs. As such, possible solutions to these market-specific factors are advanced.

L’Art Post-Catastrophe : Un Témoin Activiste, Michel Abou Khalil
L’Art Post-Catastrophe : Un Témoin Activiste, Michel Abou Khalil
BAU Journal - Society, Culture and Human Behavior

Sebastian Faulks’ Human Traces:A Journey Into The Depths Of The Human Psyche, Essam Fattouh
BAU Journal - Society, Culture and Human Behavior
Sebastian Faulk’s novel, Human Traces (2006), embarks on a new trend in contemporary English fiction. Through its representations of two main protagonists, pioneers in the field of psychology between the 1870s and 1918, Faulks traces the formative years of the development of the young discipline of psychiatry. Even though Faulks works in the realist traditions of Charles Dickens and George Eliot, yet he delves into such major questions as the role of unconscious motivations in human individual behaviour, the causes of mental illness, and the very attempt to understand the nature of the human being. The time frame of the …

This three-year study of the relationship between attractions demand and lodging demand indicate that increasing attendance at recreation and entertainment-related attractions is associated with heightened lodging demand. However, it is also clear that the relationship between attractions attendance and lodging demand may vary from destination to destination.

To recognize and respond to the social injustice of climate change impacts, children require curriculum/pedagogies that render settler colonialism visible while dialoguing across pluri-versal perspectives. We present a case study of a school in Northeastern United States that taught the Abenaki language and knowledge on traditional Abenaki Land to non-indigenous students in a 4–5th-grade classroom. Utilizing Mignolo's [2011. Geopolitics of sensing and knowing: On (de)coloniality, border thinking and epistemic disobedience. Postcolonial Studies, 14(3), 273–as283] concepts of ‘epistemic disobedience’ through ‘de-linking’ and ‘de-centering’ to challenge structural/curricular settler colonialism, we found that the school must first be open to, and appreciative …

Visions of Research in Music Education
Switzerland's widely divergent geography and many cultures allow the music educators of the country to exchange ideas with their neighbors while preserving rich local traditions. In this article, the author interviews the directors of the divisions of the Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel. The directors, in discussing their education, music, and aspirations, together represent the nationalistic mix as well as the spirit of cooperation that is characteristic of Switzerland.
