Calendar Based Data Rate-Limiting Mechanism In Wi-Fi Deployments, Niranjan M M
Defensive Publications Series
As the day progress we all see wireless adoption and usage is ever increasing. With the advent of Wi-Fi 6, required data rates has further increased. It poses huge challenge to network administrator to keep the overall wireless network data usage in the expected limits considering the back-haul bandwidth limitations. Also, the required data rate limits are very turbulent in each location at a given Access Point (AP) at a given point-in-time. This brings in the need for mechanisms which can fast converge for the data rate requirements of wireless subscribers. There are existing techniques which describe data rate-limiting methods …
The Florida Architecture Of F. Burrall Hoffman Jr., 1882-1980, Donald W. Curl
The Florida Architecture Of F. Burrall Hoffman Jr., 1882-1980, Donald W. Curl
Florida Historical Quarterly
Everyone interested in Florida’s architectural history should know of Francis Burrall Hoffman Jr. and his connection to Miami’s great villa Vizcaya. Few realize he had a distinguished Florida career spanning over sixty years and designed buildings in several sections of the state. In fact, when the United States entered World War I in 1917, the thirty-five-year-old Hoffman may have been, in terms of cost of commissions, Florida’s most successful domestic architect. In only eight short years of private practice, Hoffman had designed Vizcaya, the Biscayne Bay mansion, for industrialist James Deering, large oceanfront residences in Palm Beach for Mrs. Frederick …
The Power Of The Written Word And The Spoken Word In The Rise And Fall Of William Lee Popham, William Warren Rogers
The Power Of The Written Word And The Spoken Word In The Rise And Fall Of William Lee Popham, William Warren Rogers
Florida Historical Quarterly
William Lee Popham first came to the small fishing and lumbering town of Apalachicola in 1916. Seat of government for Franklin County in northwest Florida and located at the mouth of the Apalachicola River, the town had an aesthetic appeal. Equally important, it enjoyed strategic economic advantages. As a port opening to the Gulf of Mexico, antebellum Apalachicola imported manufactured goods and luxuries and shipped them by steamboats up the Apalachicola River and beyond. They went to individuals and businesses in north Florida, southwest Georgia, and southeast Alabama. In turn, Apalachicola received timber and agricultural products, especially cotton, from the …

Sportsman’S Authority In The Perspective Of Man’S Weakness, Marcin Pasek
Sportsman’S Authority In The Perspective Of Man’S Weakness, Marcin Pasek
Baltic Journal of Health and Physical Activity
Background: History of glory and fall of the cyclist Lance Armstrong refers to the issues from the borderline of sociology, psychology, pharmacology and qualified sport. It stirs many emotions and extreme opinions in which human attitudes are focused on phenomena impossible to be interpreted unequivocally. The purpose of this research was to learn opinions on the life path of Lance Armstrong, regarding his struggle both with cancer and his rivals in the peloton, but at the same time marked with forbidden doping. Material and methods: The research was carried out using the survey method, which asked one question about the …
How Does History Of Sport Rank In Sciences – A Discussion Of The Paradigm Of The History Of Sport, Piotr Godlewski
How Does History Of Sport Rank In Sciences – A Discussion Of The Paradigm Of The History Of Sport, Piotr Godlewski
Baltic Journal of Health and Physical Activity
No science can be a province of itself without its theories, neither can history of sport be. Hence a question arises of how it is possible for specific research programmes to have been pursued for more than half a century without their own theories and the paradigm [1], understood here as a collection of concepts and theories composing the methodological basis. What is more, a group of researchers with considerable achievements in historiography of sport, physical education and tourism have not produced anything that could be called a methodology. Retrospective insight into sport may take two forms: research into historic …

Cognition Construction Of First Language Of Translator Education In Iraq: A Correlation Study, Dhea Mizhir Krebt
Alustath Journal for Human and Social Sciences
The majority of Iraqi translator-student have problems at two main levels: the conceptual level and the productive level. From different perspectives, such problems are either related to ‘language’ or to ‘cognition’. This binary view is an indication to the implicit and interchangeable relationship between language and cognition. The relationship between cognition language and translator starts with the first language and its effect on the Iraqi translators. Identifying the effect is the aim of the present study. It is hypothesized that Iraqi students are negatively influenced by the problems and weaknesses of first language schema. This reflects the major claim and …
