Digital Marketing And Consumer Behaviour In Travel Services: A Conceptual Framework On The Mediating Role Of Brand Trust, Omar Abdulaziz Sultan Abdullah, Junainah Binti Mohd Mahdee, Nurazlin Binti Mohd Fauzi

International Journal of Management, Finance and Accounting

Digital marketing shapes each moment of the contemporary travel journey, yet limited evidence still obscures how individual tactics foster purchase decisions. This conceptual study will develop an integrative framework that integrates four core touch-points, including social media marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing, and online reviews on travellers’ purchase intentions, positing brand trust as the central psychological mechanism. Guided by the Stimulus-Organism-Response theory, thirteen propositions will specify both the direct effects of each touch-point on trust and purchase intention, and trust as a mediator role. To demonstrate the mechanism for empirical validation, future research will conduct a purposive sampling of …

International Journal of Management, Finance and Accounting

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education presents both opportunities and ethical challenges. In Malaysia, private universities are adopting AI at a pace that often outshines the development of governance frameworks, raising concerns over transparency, data privacy, and ethical literacy. This research examines the influence of three predictors (AI Transparency, Data Privacy Awareness, and Ethical AI Literacy) on the ethical use of AI among 221 academicians. Guided by Deontological Ethical Theory and employing a quantitative correlational design, the analysis revealed strong and significant relationships among all variables. Data Privacy Awareness emerged as the most consistent and positive predictor …

Drawing Inspiration From The Magic Of The Unconscious In The Surrealist School, In The Works Of Jamil Jamoudi And The Works Of Aminollah Rezaei: A Comparative Study, Bashar Noumi

Journal of Language, Literature, and Arts

This paper provides a comparative analysis of the embryonic Surrealism of two well-known figures of the era: Jamil Hamoudi, an Iraqi surrealist artist, and Aminullah Rezaei, an Iranian surrealist artist. The results found that Surrealism in Iraq associated itself with cultural identity and sacred symbolism, unveiling Hamoudi as the merger of geometry, calligraphy, and warm colours, towards reshaping the collective unconscious and reformulating Eastern spirituality in a modernist fashion. While Surrealism itself was an American import, Surrealism in Iran was contained within a frame of clinical satire, with Rezaei using hybrid bodies and anatomical distortions within realism and fantasy to …

Biophilic design integrates nature into architecture to enrich sensory and cognitive experiences, enhance psychological well-being, and improve performance. This study explores its physiological and neural effects in design studios at King Salman International University through an experimental methodology combining theoretical review and lab-based investigation. Tools included electrocardiography (ECG) for heart rate variability (HRV), eye-tracking for visual attention, and the Self-Assessment Manikin (SAM) for emotional evaluation. Nine participants viewed five digital architectural scenes with varying biophilic integration. Direct nature connections elicited greater visual attention, pleasure, and perceived control, indicating higher engagement and relaxation.  A scene lacking biophilic elements led to reduced …

The Labor Of Reading: A Personal And Pedagogical Exploration, Alisha Goldblatt Feb 2026

The Labor Of Reading: A Personal And Pedagogical Exploration, Alisha Goldblatt

Wellspring: A Practitioner-Oriented Journal of Literacy and Language Education

While teachers bemoan the decrease in students’ ability to sustain interest in reading, and phones dominate over plain text, I have been wrestling with two questions that predate the current ubiquity of screentime: Why are some people more capable of reading fluently and with passion than others? Why can’t every person easily “lose” themselves in a text? As an English teacher and avid reader, I investigate the mechanisms of the act of reading (mainly fiction and creative nonfiction), the well-intentioned efforts of educators, and the question of whether reading itself is absolutely necessary to produce an informed, empathetic, and educated …

Journal of Public Health in the Deep South

Adults living with neurologic disability, particularly stroke survivors, face disproportionately high rates of violence and abuse. This vulnerability is amplified in the Deep South due to elevated stroke burden, structural disadvantage, and persistent community-level disparities in both violence and health care access. We conducted a narrative review of peer-reviewed literature indexed in PubMed, along with relevant surveillance and policy reports, to synthesize current evidence on the burden, patterns, risk factors, and prevention opportunities related to violence among adult stroke survivors. The review focused on elder mistreatment, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, caregiver abuse and neglect, and financial exploitation. Findings indicate …

Archives And Children's Knowledge, Elliott Kuecker, Ashley Rockenbach

Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies

This article argues for the importance of collecting works created by children—not just about and not just for—in formal archival collections. Framed through the ideas of legitimate knowledge and epistemic injustice, this piece combines notions important to children’s rights activists and childhood studies scholars with the role archives can play in preserving children’s knowledge through child-created materials. The authors describe how researchers struggle to find work created by children within archives, impacting the ability to create child-centered research that centers children’s views of the world as prominently as adult views of the world. Some collections that do include child-created materials …

Fana’ (Annihilation), Houyar Moghaddas Feb 2026

Fana’ (Annihilation), Houyar Moghaddas

HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine

In Sufism, fana’ refers to the dissolution of the self, the annihilation of the ego as one transcends individuality. While traditionally a spiritual concept, fana’ also offers a powerful humanistic metaphor for psychological transformation. In both the poem and accompanying photograph, fana’ explores the themes of ego death, grief, and the reshaping of identity: processes central to psychiatric practice, psychedelic therapy and the treatment of emotional fragmentation. The photograph captures an individual standing at the edge of a path, facing an untamed landscape, symbolizing the confrontation with the unknown self and the internal experience of surrender. This work invites reflection …

Keratosis pilaris (KP) is a common benign disorder involving hyperkeratosis of the skin. It is associated with other common dry skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis and ichthyosis vulgaris. Lesions are clinically characterized as symmetrically distributed, monomorphic, folliculocentric, hyperkeratotic papules with a variable degree of perifollicular erythema. The appearance can be likened to spikey bumps that are commonly located on the arms, legs, and buttocks. Awareness of KP is important as every primary care clinician will see patients with this disorder. Identification can support the diagnosis of other associated skin diseases. Education about KP and its treatment may alleviate psychological …
