Perspectives Of Trauma Among Licensed Trauma Therapists: A Concept Mapping Study, Sean W. Bullock

To address gaps between research and psychotherapeutic intervention for trauma and trauma-related issues, the current study elicited and analyzed the perspectives of licensed trauma therapists via a concept mapping process. A literature review was conducted to explore the history and limitations of trauma’s current medical use as outlined by Criterion A of posttraumatic stress disorder in the DSM-5-TR. To answer the research question regarding how practitioners understand trauma, the researcher recruited licensed trauma therapists (n = 17) to participate in concept mapping. Workplace violence remains a concern in psychiatric nursing, particularly when changes in patient behavior are not recognized early or communicated consistently. This quality improvement (QI) project was conducted at a psychiatric recovery center in Central Ohio after identifying a practice gap in aggression risk assessment and response. The purpose was to implement and evaluate a multicomponent aggression-management approach using the Brøset Violence Checklist (BVC), structured team huddles, and individualized aggression care plans. This study looked at how athletes adapt to life after competitive sports in relation to psychological issues. In publicly accessible podcast interviews, 95 former athletes, most competing at the collegiate or professional level, were examined using their own words. Claude and Gemini, two large multimodal models, independently coded each interview for four mental health outcomes: depression, anxiety, dependency, and identity confusion, as well as for a set of predictor variables, such as neuroticism, emotion regulation, athletic identity, identity foreclosure, intrinsic motivation, grit, social support, and retirement planning. "This study examines perceived individual recovery and perceived community recovery among tornado survivors across three waves spanning four years. Using three-wave longitudinal survey data from survivors in Dallas, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; and Birmingham, Alabama collected in 2021, 2022, and 2025, we estimate recovery trajectories using linear mixed-effects growth models. We link respondents to tract-level SVI 2020 component measures to examine whether tract-level social vulnerability contextualizes age differences in recovery perceptions. Social camouflaging behaviours are often used by people with high autistic traits to negotiate a predominantly neurotypical social world. Previous discussion has associated camouflaging with a tendency to conform, although it has also been suggested that masking autistic tendencies may be a more specific motivating factor. The relationship between autistic traits and conformity is itself equivocal, suggesting that it may not necessarily be a driving force for social camouflaging in this group. This study was developed to examine if a significant relationship exists between leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) and the job satisfaction of educational staff, with further exploratory analysis examining self-efficacy as a mediator to the relationship. Employing a cross-sectional design, data from a sample of middle school educational staff was collected and analyzed (n=35). Job satisfaction, physical activity levels, and self-efficacy were measured using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire – Short Form (MSQ-SF), the International Physical Activity Questionnaire – Short Form (IPAQ-SF) and the General Self-Efficacy Questionnaire. At the project site, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) was administered postpartum only, without standardization. The escalating global ecological crisis highlights the need for new approaches to sustainability education, while the cognitive role of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) remains underexplored. This study employs a critical literature review with a systematic search and qualitative thematic synthesis to develop a proposed Green Language Pedagogy (GLP) model. The review followed a four-stage screening protocol (identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion) and analyzed 50 theoretical and empirical sources published between 2014 and 2025. This article examines how candidate assessments and organisational commitments enter pre-election voting intentions among Muhammadiyah members and active sympathisers in Kendari during Indonesia’s 2024 presidential election. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design combined a survey of 280 respondents with subsequent interviews involving 17 purposively selected informants. Prabowo–Gibran received 41.07% of stated intentions, Anies–Muhaimin 33.57%, and Ganjar–Mahfud 25.36%; no pair secured majority support. Multinomial logistic regression showed positive associations between candidate evaluation and preferences for both Anies–Muhaimin and Prabowo–Gibran relative to Ganjar–Mahfud. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of new basketball facilities on attendance among NCAA Division I men's basketball programs. Using a longitudinal pre-post comparative research design, 20 programs that opened new venues since the 2015-16 season served as the sample.
