A Study On Some Distance Based Domination Parameters In Graphs And Their Applications, Shanmugavelan S Mr
Theses and Dissertations
Distance-based domination has emerged as a significant development in graph theory, attributed to its applications in communication systems, interconnection networks, parallel architectures, and chemical graph models. This thesis focuses on two such graph invariants: hop domination number and 2-hop domination number of graphs. The hop domination number of some generalized graph structures like generalized thorn paths, generalized theta graphs, and snake graph families is studied along with a newly introduced family, namely generalized ciliates.
Moreover, a variant of hop domination number, namely, the 2-hop domination number, is studied for some grid families like ladder, hexagonal grid, and its variants. Furthermore, …

Purpose – Present study examines how corporate digital irresponsibility (CDI) contributes to self-regulatory failure among online food delivery workers. Self-regulatory failure is operationalised through two outcomes, namely burnout and risky driving behaviour. Drawing on psychological contract theory and the job demands-resources framework, the study investigates the mediating role of psychological contract breach and the dual moderating role of technostress. Design/methodology/approach – A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design was employed. Survey data from 342 food delivery workers were analysed using structural equation modelling, followed by semi-structured interviews with 25 workers to contextualise and validate the quantitative patterns. Findings – All three CDI …

The rapidly expanding fleet of low-altitude CubeSats equipped with energetic particle detectors brings new opportunities for monitoring the dynamics of the radiation belt and near-Earth plasma sheet. Despite their small sizes, CubeSats can carry state-of-the-art instruments that provide electron flux measurements with finer energy resolution and broader energy coverage, compared to conventional missions such as POES satellites. The recently launched CIRBE CubeSat measures 250–6,000 keV electrons with extremely high energy resolution, however, CIRBE typically only measures locally-trapped electrons and cannot directly measure the precipitating electrons. This work aims to develop a technique for identifying indications of nightside precipitation using the …

Rhythm-Predictive Power Management For Ai Fabric Network Elements, Fernando Calabria, Juan Alcaide, Nebojsa Kosanovic
Rhythm-Predictive Power Management For Ai Fabric Network Elements, Fernando Calabria, Juan Alcaide, Nebojsa Kosanovic
Defensive Publications Series
A system is proposed herein for rhythm-predictive power management in artificial intelligence (AI) fabric network elements. The system learns the periodicity of AI training workloads from port counters local to a network device, predicts idle and busy windows, and schedules per-port power transitions so a port can enter a reduced-power state during a predicted idle interval and return to full capability before the next burst arrives. The mechanism requires no job, collective, scheduler, or external-controller knowledge. Confidence gating limits predictive action to ports with established periodicity and returns a port to reactive or always-on behavior when prediction confidence falls. By …
Multi-Agent Orchestration Engine For Synchronized Generative Dialogue And Kinematics, Allison Garcia, Corbin Cunningham, Mike Dory
Multi-Agent Orchestration Engine For Synchronized Generative Dialogue And Kinematics, Allison Garcia, Corbin Cunningham, Mike Dory
Defensive Publications Series
Creating coordinated interactions for multi-agent systems, such as physical robots or virtual characters, can present challenges in synchronizing expressive dialogue with coherent physical actions and adapting to unscripted events. The disclosed technology describes a multi-agent orchestration engine with a decoupled architecture that can employ a tiered timeline system to manage a global narrative and individual agent states. A dynamic interruption handler can leverage a large language model to reason about real-time inputs and determine if an agent should deviate from a scripted path. The engine can then generate synchronized dialogue and high level behavioral tokens, which may be subsequently translated …

Structural And Hamiltonian Properties Of The N–Array Unit Graphs Over Finite Rings, Puguh Wahyu Prasetyo, Muhammad Ardiyansyah, Joe Repka
Baghdad Science Journal
Consider a finite ring R, and let U( R ) denote the set of all its unit elements. The unit graph G_R of R is defined as follows: the vertex set V( G_R ) consists of all elements of R. Two distinct elements a,\ b∈ \ G_R are adjacent if and only if a + b∈ U( R ). Recent research has provided necessary and sufficient conditions for the unit graph G_R to have a Hamiltonian cycle. However, the property of Hamiltonicity under direct product constructions of rings has not been fully understood. This paper addresses this gap by studying …

Surface Wave Propagation At The Interface Between An Inviscid Liquid Layer And A Rotating Micropolar Elastic Solid With Stretch, Somaiah Kamidi, Narsimharao Kandula, Venkateswara Rao Burugu, Gaddam Rajkumar, Srinivas Remidi
Baghdad Science Journal
This article investigates the impact of angular rotation on surface-wave propagation at the interface between an inviscid liquid layer and a rotating micropolar elastic solid with stretch. The surface-wave secular equation is obtained analytically using the plane-harmonic solution method after the mathematical model has been developed. It is noticed that for symmetric modes of surface waves, the liquid effects and the micro-stretch do not manifest simultaneously. Using MATLAB software, the impacts of the solid's angular rotation and the liquid layer's thickness on the symmetric mode of surface waves are illustrated for a specific model. The velocity of surface waves at …

Protocol For Integrating Vessel Networks And Environmental Matching To Inform Cost-Effective Archipelago Biosecurity Planning And Management, Chi T.U. Le, Chad L. Hewitt, Marnie L. Campbell
Research outputs 2022 to 2026
Inter-island vessel networks support economic activity but also enable secondary spread of non-native species. By integrating vessel-movement data, network analysis, and environmental matching, we present a protocol for generating a cost-effective biosecurity decision-support tool by assessing both the relative economic importance and the relative risks of species spread within a vessel traffic system. We outline steps for data curation, network construction, and sea surface temperature-based environmental similarity calculation. We then detail procedures for the translation of outputs into management recommendations. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Campbell et al. 1

Signals In The Ionosphere Ahead Of Tsunami Arrival, Svetlana Riabova, Sergey Shalimov
Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences
We consider the impact of the tsunami propagating after the earthquake in Tohoku on the ionosphere according to measurements from the Hawaiian Islands, i.e., at a fairly large distance from the epicenter of the earthquake. These measurements, taken at a tidal tsunami monitoring station, at a magnetometric station, and by GPS, were used to record the arrival of the tsunami. We experimentally establish that the arrival of atmospheric waves generated by the tsunami significantly advanced the arrival of sea waves at the observation point, and this advance from one source was recorded in both the lower and upper ionosphere. Attention …
