Modern Retail Experience Design For Gen Z And Millennials In India: The Roles Of Convenience, Personalization, And Sustainability, Pratibha Rai, Om Jee Gupta

Management Dynamics

India’s retail sector is undergoing dramatic change, increasingly defined as an omnichannel journey in which shoppers navigate marketplaces, social media, quick-commerce apps, and physical stores. Focusing on Gen Z and Millennial consumers, this study tests whether three retailer-controlled experience levers, consumer convenience, personalized shopping experience, and sustainability and social responsibility (SSR), are associated with Purchase Intention.

A cross-sectional survey was administered in Pune, Maharashtra, India. After data screening, 320 responses were retained and analyzed using multiple linear regression. All three predictors show positive, statistically significant relationships with purchase intention, and convenience has the largest standardized effect among the three factors …

Steel Corrosion In Underground Transportation Infrastructure, Amr M. Morsy, Islam A. Ebo, Shiv K. Janardhanan May 2026

Steel Corrosion In Underground Transportation Infrastructure, Amr M. Morsy, Islam A. Ebo, Shiv K. Janardhanan

Mineta Transportation Institute

Corrosion of buried steel, a critical component of American transportation infrastructure, remains one of the most insidious challenges due to the uncertainty associated with its estimates. Predicting when and how this corrosion happens is very difficult. This uncertainty grows exponentially with time, making corrosion estimation in the long term even more challenging, especially with buried steel and steel structures, which cannot even be monitored visually. While significant advancement has been made to understand the effect of the various corrosion parameters on soil corrosivity, there is a lack of a comprehensive understanding of how these factors collectively contribute to corrosion as …

Data Supporting “Haze–Cloud Correlations Mediated By Supersaturation Fluctuations”, Hamed F. Sadi, Fan Yang, Jesse Anderson, Suryadey P. Singh, Will Cantrell, Raymond Shaw

Michigan Tech Research Data

Atmospheric aerosol particles that contain water-soluble components can absorb water vapor in humid environments and form either haze particles or cloud droplets, depending on supersaturation conditions. Laboratory and in-situ measurements have shown that haze particles and cloud droplets often coexist and compete for available water vapor in shallow clouds and fogs, especially under polluted conditions. It is expected that more aerosol particles can form more haze particles and cloud droplets, so that the haze and cloud number concentrations are positively correlated. However, recent large-eddy simulations show that haze and cloud number concentration can be negatively correlated under extremely polluted conditions. …

Herbularyo (Folk Healer): An Herbal Medicine Card Game, Maryjane T. Magsino, Inah Marie Q. Rivera, Armando M. Guidote, Genejane M. Adarlo

Chemistry Faculty Publications

Herbularyo, a card game teaching about herbal plants (HPs), was created and evaluated as a viable educational card game based on Tuomisto and Aksela’s criteria. A quasi-experiment was performed on 81 Grade 8 students from a private high school and 50 Grade 11 from a public high school. Independent t-test revealed that the control group (CG) and experimental group (EG) (p=0.386), and EG1 (played ≤5) and EG2 (played >5) (p=0.681) are not comparable with each other. Paired t-test showed EG performed better (p=0.001) than CG (p=0.901) whereas ANCOVA showed that playing Herbularyo improved students’ information retention (p=0.006). EG1 and EG2 …

Creating Healthy Work Environments (CHWE)

Purpose: The Healthy Actions for Lifelong Outcomes (HALO) program is an interprofessional wellness initiative at a large academic medical center aimed at improving employee health and fostering a culture of wellness. HALO integrates preventive exams, biometric screening, motivational interviewing (MI), and MI-based coaching to support sustainable health behaviors. This evidence-based practice (EBP) project evaluated biometric and wellness outcomes from HALO’s second cohort over 18 months. The program is grounded in MI’s four processes engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning and aligns with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Healthy Work Environment Standards.

Background: Unhealthy work environments contribute to burnout, turnover, …

Speaking Of Language: The Relationship Between Language As Capital And Minority Language Education, Alex J. Zelaya May 2026

Speaking Of Language: The Relationship Between Language As Capital And Minority Language Education, Alex J. Zelaya

Politics Honors Papers

The future of minority languages not only depends on intergenerational transmission but also on support for immersive instruction in minority languages within the educational system. This paper examines the factors that influence support for minority language education, arguing that language policy is shaped by societal attitudes, which in turn reflect dynamics of power. The paper draws upon Pierre Bourdieu’s conceptualization of different types of capital, including his theory on the relationship between economic, social, cultural and symbolic capital. Within this framework, language functions as a form of capital, reflecting and reinforcing social and economic stratification by conveying status or stigma. …

Increasing Safe Driving Among Adults With Neurological Impairments In A Rural Setting, Melissa V. Burt May 2026

Increasing Safe Driving Among Adults With Neurological Impairments In A Rural Setting, Melissa V. Burt

Occupational Therapy Capstone Presentations

This capstone project examined challenges related to safe driving for adults living in rural communities with neurological impairments. Guided by the Person-Environment-Occupation Model and Toglia's Dynamic Interactional Approach, the project focused on increasing awareness, accessibility, and utilization of occupational therapy (OT) led assessments, community-based services, and educational outreach on driving safety. Clinical skill development was demonstrated through standardized and informal assessments and evidence-based interventions with adults with neurological conditions. Program implementation included driving risk assessments, one-on-one CarFit sessions, the creation of educational pamphlets, and educational presentations to increase community and provider awareness of OT's role in driving rehabilitation. CarFit surveys …

Electronic Theses and Dissertations 2020 - Present

The research examines plant resource management and food processing practices of the Manteño occupation of the Río Blanco, Manabí, Ecuador, through the analysis of starch grain residues recovered from archaeological artifacts. Twenty-six samples from four archeological sites (N4C4-044, N4C4-064, N4C4-068, N4C4-090) associated with domestic artifacts such as fragments of comales, vessels, and metates were analyzed, from which a total of 546 starch grains were identified, corresponding to several plant taxa including maize (Zea mays), beans (Phaseolus spp.), sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas), manioc (Manihot esculenta), chili pepper (Capsicum spp.), and squash (Cucurbita …

Comparing Llm Architectures In Street Fighter Iii, Andrew Hinh, Hyemin Doo, Jack Wu May 2026

Comparing Llm Architectures In Street Fighter Iii, Andrew Hinh, Hyemin Doo, Jack Wu

Computer Science and Engineering Senior Theses

We built a browser-based Street Fighter III benchmark for comparing large language models (LLMs) and visionlanguage models (VLMs) under real-time constraints. The game runs through a Gymnasium-like control loop that exposes both frames and structured state while the agent emits button actions. We deploy the system on Modal and stream matches overWebRTC, which lets us compare ability, latency, and cost in one setting instead of spreading them across unrelated benchmarks. Because the benchmark is narrow, architectural tradeoffs that are easy to blur in offline evaluation show up quickly during live play.

Playing The Part Online: A Role-Based Telehealth Intervention Supporting Trauma Integration In Adults, Mary Schwabenland

Expressive Therapies Theses

This study explores a telehealth-adapted, role-based drama therapy intervention designed to support trauma integration in adults. Grounded in trauma theory, experiential approaches, and drama therapy frameworks, the intervention utilized interoceptive awareness, metaphor, and role embodiment to explore emotional material in dramatic reality, with aesthetic distance serving as an adjustable mechanism of activation and containment. A qualitative thematic analysis was conducted on clinical session notes from five adult clients. Five themes emerged from the analysis, including: aesthetic distance and modes of engagement; aesthetic quality and symbolic coherence; role narrative as integration pathway; intervention as catalyst within ongoing process; and therapist positioning …
