Organizational Psychology Theories In Graduate Medical Education: A Narrative Review, Mohamad S. Saad, Naim El-Aswad, Zeina Ghossoub, Relly Nadler, Serena Wasilewski
HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine
Physicians and educators tend to be more versed in recognizing disease patterns and medical problems than in identifying malfunctioning patterns in the psychological aspects of their mentees and work environments. Just as hypertension and diabetes are the common soil for many acute medical problems, agency problems and organizational silos can lead to many acute managerial problems in graduate medical education (GME) settings.
Data show that most workers are lonely at work, which leads to negative emotions and undermines performance. Organizational problems seem to stem from an individual’s inability to align one’s motivation with the organization’s shared value. This can cause …

"I Don’T Know That You Can Do That Anywhere Else": The Role Rural College Towns Play In The Formation Of Queer Identity, Amy Mcdowell, Ryan J. Parsons, Julia Kraus
Journal of Queer and Trans Studies in Education
Challenging dominant narratives suggesting that rural spaces are inhospitable to LGBTQ+ identities, this study examines how queer individuals navigate space, rurality, and queerness in Oxford, Mississippi, a historically conservative college town. Drawing on oral histories from the Queer Mississippi digital archive, we argue that rural institutions of higher learning (rural IHLs) and the college towns they are embedded in serve as critical sites of queer identity formation. The rural college town provides a unique space where LGBTQ+ individuals from both within and outside the South navigate self-discovery, social networks, and belonging. We highlight the transformative role of these spaces in …
On- And Off-Field Impacts Of Foreign Players On Peruvian Liga 1 Football Teams, Juan Victor Aranibar, Claudio Rocha
On- And Off-Field Impacts Of Foreign Players On Peruvian Liga 1 Football Teams, Juan Victor Aranibar, Claudio Rocha
Global Sport Business Journal
Despite the growing globalisation of football, little research has examined how foreign players create competitive advantage in non-traditional leagues. Using the Resource-Based View (RBV), this study explores the on- and off-field impact of foreign players in Peruvian Liga 1 clubs. Semi-structured interviews with 12 sporting directors, commercial managers, scouts, and coaches were analysed thematically, revealing five themes: physical characteristics, leadership and mental strength, cultural barriers, competitive salaries, and commercial blindness. Findings suggest that although foreign players provide valuable physical and psychological attributes, these are rarely sufficient to create sustained competitive advantage. More notably, clubs fail to capitalize on foreign players' …
Internet Ethics, American Law, And Jewish Law: A Comparative Overview, Gertrude N. Levine, Samuel J. Levine
Internet Ethics, American Law, And Jewish Law: A Comparative Overview, Gertrude N. Levine, Samuel J. Levine
Journal of Technology Law & Policy
Societies are governed by codes of ethics. In developed societies, parts of these codes form a set of laws, enforceable by legal authorities, with or without assistance from the populace. At times, laws are crafted for the benefit of the powerful members of the society, ensuring preservation of their positions and property, while other constituents may ignore, actively disobey, or challenge laws they believe do not support their ethics. Developing and maintaining appropriate social norms is thus particularly critical for sustaining rapidly changing heterogeneous populaces.
The Internet, devised for the purpose of interconnecting diverse computer networks of research and educational …
You Can't Hack This: The Regulatory Future Of Cybersecurity In Automobiles, Liz Allison
You Can't Hack This: The Regulatory Future Of Cybersecurity In Automobiles, Liz Allison
Journal of Technology Law & Policy
This Note argues that any new legislation imposing new safety regulations on car manufacturers is unnecessary, and will ultimately create more problems than it solves. First, there are numerous established laws that either already require what some of these propose, or address the issues involved in car hacking. Secondly, as vehicular technology becomes more advanced, so too will the methods available to fix the vulnerabilities within their systems. Finally, the government's inefficiencies and inability to stave off its own cyberattacks makes any type of federal regulations requiring minimum safety protocols a cumbersome option. For these reasons, this Note argues private …
Semantic Profile Version-Based Cache Invalidation For Machine Learning Inference Systems, Anonymous
Semantic Profile Version-Based Cache Invalidation For Machine Learning Inference Systems, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Systems and methods are described for caching large language model (LLM) reasoning outputs in recommendation services using semantic profile versioning. Cache entries map a key including user identifier, user profile version, and candidate identifier to a reasoning output that includes a score, tier, and rationale. A profile version increments in one embodiment when a profile update delta is classified as a semantic change, including preference additions/removals or profile regeneration, and optionally confidence updates that cross configured thresholds, while session and timestamp updates are treated as non-semantic. A two-level cache may be used with a session cache and a cross-session cache. …
Per-User Kv Cache With Active User Windowing And Tiered Memory Placement For Billion-Scale Llm Recommendation, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
Techniques manage per-user attention key-value (KV) caches for large language model (LLM) recommendation serving at very large user scale. A cache manager maintains activity windows to bound the number of users whose KV cache tensors are retained. KV caches for users active within a hot window are stored in GPU high-bandwidth memory at higher precision, while KV caches for users active within a warm window are stored in host RAM in a more compact quantized format. Entries are demoted from the hot tier to the warm tier after a hot inactivity threshold using quantization, promoted back to the hot tier …

Verification of document packets for regulatory compliance may rely on manual review, which can be inefficient and susceptible to error. Some automated tools may not adequately compare data across diverse structured forms and unstructured evidence within a packet. A multi-agent artificial intelligence system can use specialized agents, which may leverage large language models, to automate processes such as the ingestion, classification, extraction, and validation of information. The system can employ a configurable source-of-truth hierarchy and multi-tiered matching logic to validate data. A human-in-the-loop mechanism can present flagged discrepancies or unverified fields to a human specialist for review and adjudication. This …
The Substrate Pushback Principle: Replacing Particle Dark Matter With Holographic Confinement Fields, Christopher L. Eckes
The Substrate Pushback Principle: Replacing Particle Dark Matter With Holographic Confinement Fields, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This paper introduces the Substrate Pushback Principle, a theoretical framework that replaces particle-centric dark matter models with an emergent informational cosmology. Instead of introducing hypothetical ultra-light bosons, we demonstrate that galactic dark matter halos can be modeled as non-local confinement fields generated by the holographic limits of spacetime. By mapping the baryonic stress-energy tensor to an information-load metric bounded by Bekenstein limits, we show that high-density galactic cores trigger an inward, geometric stabilization pressure from the spacetime substrate. This computational surface tension inherits the exact macroscopic wave mechanics of contemporary Fuzzy Dark Matter (FDM) models. Furthermore, by defining the substrate's …

Spatially Modulated Wavefront Quantum Key Distribution With Non-Local Quantum Zeno Dynamic Phase-Collapse (Geometric Wavefront Scytale With Entanglement-Triggered Self-Immolation), Johny Manuel-Devadoss, Jayden Johnson
Spatially Modulated Wavefront Quantum Key Distribution With Non-Local Quantum Zeno Dynamic Phase-Collapse (Geometric Wavefront Scytale With Entanglement-Triggered Self-Immolation), Johny Manuel-Devadoss, Jayden Johnson
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a method and system for securing free-space Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) against intercept-and-resend, quantum cloning, and wide-aperture phase-matching attacks by employing multi-spatial mode quantum states combined with real-time, non-local phase collapse. Rather than encoding cryptographic keys in conventional linear single-photon streams, the system distributes information across the Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) and radial phase profiles of a macroscopic, spatially sculpted wavefront through a dynamically varying Topological Transposition matrix, M(t). This approach renders the encoded information inherently orthogonal to conventional linear eavesdropping apertures while enabling high-dimensional quantum state encoding.
To protect against partial interception and coherent cloning attempts, …

Informational Exomemory Cosmology: Dark Energy As The Semiclassical Landauer Erasure Cost Of Horizon Microstates, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This paper presents a rigorous theoretical framework—Informational Exomemory Cosmology (IEC)—that derives Dark Energy entirely as an emergent, thermodynamic byproduct of cosmic information processing. Rather than postulating a fundamental scalar field or an intrinsic vacuum energy density (\(\rho _{\text{vac}}\)), we model the three-dimensional (3D) cosmic volume as a holographic projection governed by a global, invariant two-dimensional (2D) boundary: the Cosmological Future Causal Horizon.
Every localized physical interaction inside the bulk updates the quantum configuration state of the universe. Because the ultimate future horizon features a strict Bekenstein-Hawking memory capacity, the universe must continuously clear its cache of obsolete microstates to maintain …

Milan Kundera As A Representative And A Theorist Of World Literature, Lucija Mandić
Milan Kundera As A Representative And A Theorist Of World Literature, Lucija Mandić
CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture
The article traces the evolution of Milan Kundera’s notion of world literature across his career, contextualizing his writings within major historical events, including the so-called liberalization of Czechoslovakia in the 1960s, the post-1989 transition of the former Soviet bloc, and the turn of the millennium. Throughout the years, but particularly after his own immigration to France in 1975, Kundera consistently tied the notion of world literature with that of Central Europe to emerge with a conceptual framework that enabled him to position (semi-)peripheral European literatures within the Western canon. In his influential 2005 essay “Die Weltliteratur,” Kundera ultimately reframed the …
Against Pleonexia: Auerbach, World Literature, And The End Of History, Simon During
Against Pleonexia: Auerbach, World Literature, And The End Of History, Simon During
CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture
Erich Auerbach’s essay on world literature, written in the early postwar period, has become central to our understanding of the field. This essay contextualizes Auerbach on world literature by approaching it through his larger project, which it thinks about in relation to scholars rarely considered in this context. These scholars are the French literary historians and critics Hippolyte Taine and Remy de Gourmont, and the German historical sociologist Alexander Rüstow. To place Auerbach at an intersection of these very different figures turns out to be illuminating. It both enlarges our sense of him and helps us better understand why he …

Small Nations, Big Debates: Empowering The Slovenes As A Subject Of World History In The Critical 1930s, Marko Juvan
CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture
The article looks at how Slovene intellectuals and writers in the 1930s attempted to redefine the role of a small nation within the world-system in the face of global economic crisis, authoritarianism, imperialism, and the threat of fascist expansion. Three central interventions are examined in detail: firstly, Josip Vidmar’s culturalist defense of Slovenia as a nation defined by its intellectual and artistic achievements, which is contrasted with Edvard Kardelj’s Marxist reinterpretation of the Slovene national question as part of a broader anti-imperialist struggle; secondly, Anton Ocvirk’s peripheral model of comparative literary history, which emphasizes the creative contribution of small literatures …
Beyond The Great Wall: Zheng Zhenduo’S “Unification” Of World Literature At The Juncture Of China’S May Fourth And Post-World War I Era, Wenxin Liang
CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture
This article examines Chinese literary scholar Zheng Zhenduo’s 1922 essay “A View on the Unification of Literature” (Wenxue de tongyiguan 文學的統一觀) as a counter-narrative to both imperial isolationism and post-World War I nationalist fragmentation. Writing at the intersection of China’s May Fourth Movement and the global post-war crisis, Zheng developed a theory of world literature that challenged both Goethean Eurocentrism and the compartmentalization of comparative literary studies. Through systematic analysis of Zheng’s theoretical writings, editorial projects, and pioneering work on folk literature (suwenxue 俗文學), this article demonstrates that Zheng’s project of “the unification of literature” operated on three …
Reconsidering Karl Marx’S Concept Of World Literature, Kenneth Cheng
Reconsidering Karl Marx’S Concept Of World Literature, Kenneth Cheng
CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture
It is widely assumed that Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels regarded world literature as an epiphenomenal product of the capitalist world market, and therefore as a symptom of rather than potential cure to the crisis of modern society. However, this conflicts with the fact that they designated the Communist Manifesto itself as a world-literary production—the joint work of communists of various nationalities—and opposed it to the national limitations of German socialist literature. This article challenges existing interpretations by outlining how Marx and Engels incorporated the humanistic idealism of the Goethean Weltliteratur tradition into the theoretical framework of historical materialism. It …

A Robust Hybrid Security Framework: Integrating Multi-Layered Text Encryption With Barcode-Based Steganography, Mohamed Sayed, Talaat M. Wahbi, Farooq Abdalwahab Haboub
BAU Journal - Science and Technology
The widespread use of the Internet is causing increasing security concerns regarding online communications. One method for achieving secure communication between authorized parties is steganography. We herein employ multilevel technologies, including compression, encryption, barcoding, and steganography to secure a secret text message. Type I multilevel steganography is used with a two-level setup. The first level uses enhanced least significant bit (secure LSB-L1) image steganography; the output is a stego-image file, the cover is an image file, and the secret data in this level is English text. The output from the first level is encrypted using the RSA algorithm, and the …

The Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection Model (Dehp), Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This framework presents a qualitative cosmological model exploring the universe as an emergent three-dimensional (3D) projection originating from a foundational two-dimensional (2D) information boundary. By redefining time as a function of geometric distance from this source boundary, the model offers a unified, intuitive perspective on dark energy, dark matter, and gravitational singularities that aligns with modern holographic and braneworld concepts.

This paper introduces a novel, non-perturbative quantum cosmological framework wherein gravity is treated strictly as a macroscopic, non-fundamental, emergent phenomenon. The foundational degrees of freedom reside entirely on a dual-state, non-gravitational 2D spatial substrate (the boundary layer) containing opposing potential valences. Crucially, this framework postulates the non-existence of the graviton as a fundamental force-carrier particle. What macroscopically manifests as gravitational attraction in the projected 3D bulk is reinterpreted as a state of perpetual geodesic translation driven by how the 3D metric tensor topologically filters the underlying dual-state substrate information. By introducing the Metric Confinement Principle, this framework ensures absolute consistency …
