A Multi-Source Data Fusion Assessment Method For Bridges Based On Dempster-Shafer Evidence Theory, Tang Haitao, Lyu Zheng, Wu Haijun, Yang Xiaoxiang, Liu Chuan
Journal of China & Foreign Highway
This paper divided data fusion in bridge condition assessment into same-index fusion and different-index fusion. The different-index fusion can be further subdivided into multi-index fusion within the same component and cross-component fusion. A multi-source data fusion assessment method for bridges was constructed by utilizing Dempster-Shafer evidence theory as the core for improvement. A data conflict judgment criterion was introduced to further classify the same-index fusion into conflicting data fusion and consistent data fusion. This addresses the problem of information conflicts in multi-source monitoring data. The introduction of a data modification criterion effectively avoids the 0-trust paradox that may occur in …

Publications and Research
A review of results obtained within a single theoretical framework—the Modified Potential Cluster Model (MPCM)—is presented for astrophysical radiative capture reactions involving the lightest and 1p-shell nuclei. The approach has been applied to reactions relevant to the r-process, the CNO and HCNO cycles, and parts of the Big Bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) and post-BBN scenarios. The model incorporates the classification of orbital states according to Young’s diagrams and has been successfully applied to describe the available experimental data on the total cross sections of the radiative capture of neutrons, protons, and the lightest clusters by 40 light nuclei at astrophysical energies. …
The External Reach Of Eu Labour Law: Channels Of Influence And The Case Of Vietnam, Małgorzata Grześków
The External Reach Of Eu Labour Law: Channels Of Influence And The Case Of Vietnam, Małgorzata Grześków
Hasanuddin Law Review
This article examines how EU labour-law standards influence labour-related compliance beyond EU territory, despite the predominantly territorial character of public enforcement. It addresses the mismatch between the EU's state-centred enforcement framework and the transnational organisation of production, in which labour risks frequently arise in third-country supply chains. The aim of the article is to conceptualise ``external reach'' and to assess the main channels through which EU labour-related expectations operate outside the Union. Methodologically, the article combines doctrinal analysis with conceptual clarification and applies this framework to the case of Vietnam. It identifies three principal channels of external reach: labour provisions …
