Implicit Graph Neural Networks With Flexible Propagation Operators

Due to the capability to capture high-order information of nodes and reduce memory consumption, implicit graph neural networks have become an explored hotspot in recent years. However, these implicit graph neural networks are limited by the static topology, which makes it difficult to handle heterophilic graph-structured data. Furthermore, the existing methods inspired by optimization objectives are limited by the explicit structure of graph neural networks, which makes it difficult to set an appropriate number of network layers to solve optimization problems. Graphs provide a fundamental way to model relationships between entities and are central to numerous machine learning tasks. Standard graph-based methods often assume the provided graph structure is both accurate and complete. However, real-world graphs frequently suffer from noise and sparsity, negatively impacting downstream tasks like node classification and clustering. While graph representation learning has advanced significantly, many methods implicitly assume graph homophily (connections predominantly between nodes of the same class), struggling when faced with heterophily (connections predominantly between different classes). This research investigates the integration of stakeholders' values into the digital frameworks of Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) within the Dutch music copyright system. Utilizing Q methodology, the study captures diverse perspectives from composers, lyricists, publishers, and CMO representatives on values, value tensions, norms, and system requirements. A pilot study with four experts tested data collection methods and refined the study design for a larger, follow-up study involving 30 participants. Preliminary findings, based on factor analysis of participant rankings of 30 statements, reveal two distinct perspectives: one focused on "Fairness and Accountability," emphasizing trust-building and equitable treatment, and the other on …

This paper examines the factors affecting brand awareness in Saudi Arabia Nesma & Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. An electronic survey was distributed to 203 employees. The results indicated a positive correlation between credibility and brand awareness, while a negative correlation between the following variables (social media, influencer, E-wom) and brand awareness. These results imply that companies like Nesma & partners should not rely on social media, influencers, and E-wom to reach brand awareness. Future research is needed to investigate more factors affecting brand awareness in construction companies

هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى مساهمة الملل الأكاديمي في التنبؤ بالتوتر النفسي لدى المراهقين في سلطنة عمان. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي على عينة مكونة من 522 طالبا (106 ذكور، 416 إناث). وأظهرت النتائج ارتفاع مستويات الملل الأكاديمي على مستوى المقياس العام وأبعاده الفرعية (طرائق التدريس، المحتوى التعليمي، طرائق التقويم). في حين كان التوتر النفسي متوسطاً في المجالين المعرفي والنفسي، ومنخفضاً في المجال الفسيولوجي. كما وجدت علاقة ارتباطية موجبة عند مستوى الدلالة (0,05) بين الملل الأكاديمي والتوتر النفسي. وظهرت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الجنسين لصالح الإناث في أبعاد المحتوى التعليمي وأساليب التقويم للملل الأكاديمي، ولم تظهر في أساليب التدريس. …

هدفت هذه الدراسة للكشف عن فاعلية التدريس وفق نموذج نيدهام البنائي في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد في الفيزياء لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن، تم تطبيق اختبار مهارات التفكير الناقد المكون من (25 ) فقرة على عينة قصدية حجمها (53) طالباً في مدارس محافظة المفرق بالأردن، توزعوا على مجموعتين: تجريبية فيها (27) طالباً درسوا وفق نموذج نيدهام البنائي وضابطة فيها (26) طالباً درسوا بالطريقة الاعتيادية، أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند (α = 0.05) بين متوسطات علامات طلاب مجموعتي الدراسة على اختبار مهارات التفكير الناقد لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. أوصت الدراسة باستخدام نموذج نيدهام البنائي في تعليم الفيزياء.

هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف فاعلية برنامج إرشادي مستند للنظرية المعرفية السلوكية، في خفض الأفكار اللاعقلانية لدى الزوجات المرتبطات بذوي الاضطراب النفسي في مدينة القدس، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة استُخدم المنهج شبه التجريبي بمجموعة واحدة وقياس قبلي وبعدي، إذ تكونت عينة الدراسة من (14) زوجة من الزوجات المرتبطات بذوي الاضطراب النفسي.

أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في القياسين القبلي والبعدي على مقياس الدراسة لصالح القياس البعدي، ما يفيد بفاعلية البرنامج الإرشادي في خفض الأفكار اللاعقلانية لدى عينة الدراسة، كما أظهرت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α<.05) بين متوسطات استجابة أفراد العينة في نتيجة القياسين البعدي والتتبعي لمقياس الأفكار اللاعقلانية، تعزى إلى استمرارية فاعلية البرنامج الإرشادي، ما يشير إلى استمرارية فعالية البرنامج الإرشادي بعد انتهاء تطبيقه.

A large convection cloud chamber has been proposed for exploring aerosol–cloud–drizzle interactions under well-controlled turbulent conditions. Recent theoretical and numerical studies suggest that a convection cloud chamber with two heated and two cooled sidewalls can significantly enhance the liquid water content and thus benefit drizzle initiation. However, a chamber with such a sidewall configuration develops stable stratification and extremely weak turbulence therein. In this study, we conduct large-eddy simulations of a tall convection chamber with five different sidewall configurations consisting of alternating warm and cold patches. Effective reinforcement-based treatment requires the identification of stimuli that function as potent reinforcers. In practice, reinforcer efficacy is commonly measured via stimulus preference assessments. These data are typically summarized as a percentage of trials with selection and, although they identify hierarchies of reinforcing quality, they do not clearly provide a quantitative description of the relative reinforcing effects of the stimuli assessed. Quantitative methods for scaling reinforcer efficacy may offer more precision but are less common in practice. This presentation explores how active learning pedagogy can be informed by practices in the dramatic arts, particularly film editing and theatre direction. Drawing on an autobiographical lens, it argues that teaching and creative practice share a performative, interpretive, and collaborative structure. Concepts such as facilitative teaching, embodied cognition, intuition, and kinesthetic empathy are used to reframe the teacher as an active orchestrator rather than a passive facilitator. BACKGROUND: Mental illnesses constitute a large and escalating portion of the global burden of disease, particularly in low- and middle-income countries like Uganda. Understanding community perceptions towards mental illness is crucial for developing effective interventions.
