A Qualitative Exploration Of Global Remote Leadership, Melissa Morrison Jan 2026

A Qualitative Exploration Of Global Remote Leadership, Melissa Morrison

Doctoral Dissertations and Projects

Leaders of organizations have faced many changes with respect to remote work. As face-to-face interactions decrease, the opportunities and challenges of technological and digital advancement further the complexity of remote work. Leaders serve as prominent figures who use remote technology to communicate and interact with employees that report to them. The relationship between remote work and the development of meaningful social interactions remains largely unexplored (Clark et al., 2018). This phenomenological study explored the described experiences of remote leaders, the role that identity development plays in the success of leadership remote work, how their identity development impacts their well-being and …

Trusting Jesus To The End: How A Christocentric, Inductive, And Canonical Hermeneutic Best Answers Rapture Debates And Reaffirms Perseverance, James G. Davidian Jan 2026

Trusting Jesus To The End: How A Christocentric, Inductive, And Canonical Hermeneutic Best Answers Rapture Debates And Reaffirms Perseverance, James G. Davidian

Doctoral Dissertations and Projects

This dissertation compares the four premillennial end-time theories (i.e., the pretribulation, midtribulation, prewrath, and posttribulation views) to answer whether the Bible literally/explicitly describes two future descents of Christ, multiple future resurrections of saints, a pre-wrath timing, a reascent back to heaven, two last trumpets, two peoples of God, and two standards of protection (as proposed by rapture views) or whether the Scriptures describe only a single future coming of Christ for all saints “after the tribulation” (as held by the posttribulation view). By trusting what Jesus taught and relying on what is explicitly written and repeated in the Bible as …

Representation Of Inverse Ordered Semigroups By Means Of Symmetric Inverse Semigroups On A Set, Michael Tsingelis Jan 2026

Representation Of Inverse Ordered Semigroups By Means Of Symmetric Inverse Semigroups On A Set, Michael Tsingelis

Turkish Journal of Mathematics

A partial one-to-one mapping on a set X is a mapping whose domain is a subset of X. The set of partial one-one mappings on a set X is an inverse semigroup (the symmetric inverse semigroup on X). An element x of an ordered semigroup (S, ·, ≤) is called an inverse element of α ∈ S if α ≤ xαx and x ≤ xαx. An inverse ordered semigroup is an ordered semigroup S for which every element of S possesses an inverse element and the inverse elements of any element of S are in …

Cospectrality Results For Signed Graphs With Two Eigenvalues Unequal To ±1, Willem H. Haemers, Hati̇ce Topcu

Turkish Journal of Mathematics

Recently the collection G of all signed graphs for which the adjacency matrix has all but at most two eigenvalues equal to ±1 has been determined. Here we investigate G for cospectral pairs, and for signed graphs determined by their spectrum (up to switching). If the order is at most 20, the outcome is presented in a clear table. If the spectrum is symmetric we find all signed graphs in G determined by their spectrum, and we obtain all signed graphs cospectral with the bipartite double of the complete graph. In addition we determine all signed graphs cospectral with the …

Beyond Icwa: Within Family Court Systems, Mixed Indigenous Families Confront Ongoing Jurisdictional Violence, Nis Wilbur Jan 2026

Beyond Icwa: Within Family Court Systems, Mixed Indigenous Families Confront Ongoing Jurisdictional Violence, Nis Wilbur

American Indian Law Journal

Mixed Indigenous families (MIFs) navigating parental custody in the United States can find themselves trapped in a Battleship®-style jurisdictional maze, where tribal, state, and federal authorities collide unpredictably. This legal mess threatens to separate children from their tribal communities, undermines tribal sovereignty, and can force families into years of costly litigation. The problem is rooted in centuries of white supremacist law and policy that systematically dispossess tribes of culture and self-governance: from the Marshall Trilogy to the boarding school era and harmful adoption schemes. Today, legal frameworks like the UCCJEA remain insufficient as they minimize or ignore tribal civil jurisdiction, …

Faculty Scholarship

People around the world seek climate risk information to guide their decisions. For instance, projections about future flood risk inform where households choose to live, how lenders manage credit risks, and which communities receive federal funding. Yet data limitations and fundamental validation challenges raise important concerns about the reliability of such projections. The principles of transparency and reusability help address these concerns by enabling scrutiny of assumptions and methods, development of foundational data and tools, and consistent application of evaluation standards. While there is ongoing debate about how much transparency commercial climate risk services should provide, many expect noncommercial actors …

Codazzi Normalized Null Hypersurfaces, Théophile Kemajou Mbiakop, Cyriaque Atindogbe, Ferdinand Ngakeu

Turkish Journal of Mathematics

We introduce a class of null hypersurfaces of Lorentzian manifolds, namely Codazzi normalized null hyper surfaces, whose (screen) shape operator associated with the rigged vector field is a Codazzi tensor. Several examples are given to support our study. Moreover, we investigate conditions implying that the induced Riemannian screen structure on a Codazzi-type normalized null hypersurface of a Lorentzian space is locally a nontrivial warped product.
