Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh strategi pembelajaran meringkas dan format presentasi terhadap hasil belajar penalaran argumentatif sejarah di SMA. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan faktorial yang terdiri dari pretest-perlakuan-posttest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dari empat kelas pada empat SMA negeri di Kabupaten Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar penalaran argumentatif sejarah adalah tes uraian yang terdiri dari 10 soal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan ANCOVA 2X2. This study portrayed a profile of exemplary EYL teachers’ competence indicators of pedagogical and professional implementation and personal and social manifestation. The research involved seven subjects. The data were collected through interviews, observations, field-notes and documentary studies and they were analyzed by a snow-balling procedure. Influence Of Co-Curricular Activities On Senior Secondary School Students’ Academic Achievement In English Language In Nigeria

This paper investigates the influence of co-curricular activities on Senior Secondary School Students’ achievement in Nigeria. The variables to be considered are Press club and Literary and debating society, the involvement period, and their academic achievement. Eight out of 17 secondary schools are randomly selected with one hundred students from each school. The questionnaires for the data collection are on students’ personal data and twelve questions on press club and literary and debating society. The mock examination results show that there is a positive significant influence in co-curricular activities on senior secondary school students’ academic achievement in English.
