Context-Driven Firewall Policy Profile Generation, Niranjan M M Jun 2026

Context-Driven Firewall Policy Profile Generation, Niranjan M M

Defensive Publications Series

Enterprise security environments have become increasingly complex due to hybrid work models, multiple access paths such as wireless local area network (WLAN), virtual private network (VPN), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), diverse device types, and evolving threat patterns. Modern firewalls and access platforms can consume contextual signals such as identity, device posture, time, and location, but commonly rely on static, rule-based enforcement and one-time access decisions. Proposed herein is an agentic artificial intelligence (AI) framework that continuously evaluates multidimensional access context and dynamically generates or adapts firewall security posture during a session lifecycle. The system derives session-level risk from …

Mathematical Verification And Automated Translation Of Security Policies Across Container Orchestration Platforms, Utkarsh Bhardwaj, Shivank Awasthi Jun 2026

Mathematical Verification And Automated Translation Of Security Policies Across Container Orchestration Platforms, Utkarsh Bhardwaj, Shivank Awasthi

Defensive Publications Series

The described technology provides an automated platform for translating security policies from a source container orchestration system to a target container orchestration system. A universal intermediate representation, structured as a directed multigraph, captures security intents which are mapped to target-native primitives. Formal mathematical methods verify that the generated policies are equivalent to the original intents. Additional features include regulatory compliance validation utilizing a compliance knowledge graph, attack surface quantification across four distinct axes, the generation of cryptographic audit certificates, and parallel processing to avoid state explosion. Keywords: Automated Policy Translation, Formal Verification, Container Orchestration, Cloud Migration, Directed Multigraph, Satisfiability Modulo …

Agi Robotics Safety And Alignment Framework, Divya Garikapati Jun 2026

Agi Robotics Safety And Alignment Framework, Divya Garikapati

Defensive Publications Series

General-purpose robots designed to switch between diverse roles, such as a warehouse mover and a domestic caregiver, may lack a formal, computer-implemented framework for contextual safety verification and for building an overall safe case. This can result in a disconnect between high-level commands and the robot's physical capabilities. A safety and alignment framework is provided that can employ a cascading logic chain, acting as a physical-semantic link, to validate actions before execution. This process can evaluate a command against structured definitions of the robot's operational design domain, its assigned functional role, its specific hardware embodiment, its environment and role in …

Probabilistic Relevance Scoring Of Collaborative Action Items Using Multi-Factor Conversational Context, Room-Type-Aware Baseline Adjustment, And Transparent Reasoning, Ed Balow, Hieu Ergin, Dennis Lanov, Ray Schenkel Jun 2026

Probabilistic Relevance Scoring Of Collaborative Action Items Using Multi-Factor Conversational Context, Room-Type-Aware Baseline Adjustment, And Transparent Reasoning, Ed Balow, Hieu Ergin, Dennis Lanov, Ray Schenkel

Defensive Publications Series

Proposed herein is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered system that can automatically calculate personal relevance scores for action items using an inverse diffusion algorithm that scores tasks contrastively. The algorithm may compute how well each action item matches a contextual profile of an authenticated user, such as a profile built from conversation history, completed tasks, role, department, technical expertise, or combinations thereof, relative to how well the action item matches contextual profiles of other participants, with weighting based on participant similarity through diffusion. By constructing contextual profiles for participants using internal conversation signals, external enterprise data, or both, and by applying …

The Dual-Agent Architecture For Real-Time Correction Of Computational Model Outputs, Heena Piratiyath, Tanmay Kayande Jun 2026

The Dual-Agent Architecture For Real-Time Correction Of Computational Model Outputs, Heena Piratiyath, Tanmay Kayande

Defensive Publications Series

The abstract describes a system designed to ensure AI models make fair and ethical decisions in real-time. This system uses two separate AI "agents" working together:

  • The Proposer: The first agent suggests a specific action or decision.
  • The Checker: The second agent (an "agentic ethicist") reviews that suggestion to make sure it follows set rules for fairness and legality.

If the suggestion is found to be unfair or biased, a "safety layer" immediately changes it to a better, more compliant alternative before the decision is finalized. This method aims to catch and fix biased AI recommendations while they are being …

A Multi-Phase Pipeline For Query Deconstruction, Evidence Gathering, And Narrative Composition, Nathaniel Grabaskas, Levi Zombori, Megan Pusey, Michael Bausor, Liam Roche Jun 2026

A Multi-Phase Pipeline For Query Deconstruction, Evidence Gathering, And Narrative Composition, Nathaniel Grabaskas, Levi Zombori, Megan Pusey, Michael Bausor, Liam Roche

Defensive Publications Series

Some information retrieval systems may provide fragmented or surface-level answers for complex queries that can benefit from reasoning beyond simple keyword matching. This describes systems and methods for a multi-phase knowledge processing pipeline. The pipeline can operate in discrete stages: a strategy phase may deconstruct a user’s query to generate a research plan, a research phase may gather and synthesize source-grounded evidence into a structured dossier, and a consolidation phase can compose a final narrative answer from the dossier’s contents. This modular architecture can separate query planning, evidence gathering, and presentation. The process can transform a complex user need into …

Generative Ai Synthesis Of Automated Interactions Into A Structured Agent Briefing, Deep Raithatha, Tanmay Kayande Jun 2026

Generative Ai Synthesis Of Automated Interactions Into A Structured Agent Briefing, Deep Raithatha, Tanmay Kayande

Defensive Publications Series

Systems for escalating interactions from automated agents to human agents can create inefficiencies, for example, by transferring unstructured transcripts. An intermediary system can employ a generative artificial intelligence synthesis engine to process the context of an automated interaction upon an escalation trigger. The engine may analyze the dialogue transcript, user metadata, and the automated agent's internal state to perform semantic abstraction, diagnose potential failure points, and infer a possible resolution. The system can then generate a structured briefing for the human agent, which could include a concise summary, a failure diagnosis, or a recommended next action presented as an interactive …

Distributed Event Queue Processing With Adaptive Coordination And Transactional Delivery, Vishnu Kumar, Appu Thampi, Mahendra Yadav, Tulika Vijay Jun 2026

Distributed Event Queue Processing With Adaptive Coordination And Transactional Delivery, Vishnu Kumar, Appu Thampi, Mahendra Yadav, Tulika Vijay

Defensive Publications Series

A method (300) for distributed event queue processing includes receiving events via an application programming interface (208) and storing the events in a partitioned database queue backed by a relational database. The method includes periodically discovering queues with pending events using a query that performs atomic detection of queue enumeration and pending event status without cache-based timestamp tracking. Queue partitions are assigned to readers using epoch-based coordination and leader election. The method includes processing queues using a shared thread pool with circulating reader tasks and adaptive backoff. Events are atomically fetched and marked as consumed using epoch-fenced queries that validate …
